Re: syncking freezes / backup doesn't work

2.What is meant by 'clearing out all the details' ? If you're using Image Details inside catalog labels and converted those from V5 then you're going to have major performance issues. Clear (delete) those image details in the properties of the Catalog Labels. Or at least open them and re-apply them...

Re: syncking freezes / backup doesn't work

I believe Michael (weidmic) told you at some point that he can't select a folder on his NAS. Are you using a NAS drive where you're trying to backup to? About the keywording; did you clear out all the image details in your catalog labels as suggested by weidmic in your other topic? Have you consider...

Re: Hanging, closing, shut downs and finally inaccesible

Try to close the application, then delete the files (but not the sub folders!!) in
"%localappdata%\IDimager Systems, Inc"

More user friendly?? I guess it can't be "friendly" for everyone.

Does that help?

Re: Bug reporting

Before reporting issues, please make sure that you verified that the issue is reproducible in the *last available* version.

Thank you

Re: File Management

Juan,

Cut/Paste *is* a MOVE on the file system. Limitation is that with Windows you can't "move" a folder between drives. A move between drives on WIndows is handled by Windows as a copy/paste/delete

Re: Sharing via Email and Recipe

If you're saying that images with recipes aren't sent out via the share feature then you can report that in Mantis.

Re: Sharing via Email and Recipe

Toomas,

If an image has a recipe applied to it then the recipe will be applied before the image is sent out

Yes, it will take over the versions when you decide to switch to PSU at some point.

Re: new automatic versioning - be VERY careful

Very good thinking, but that won't work Mike. Version detection works for the file's folder and its sub folders. I'd recommend to not work with parallel folder structures but with nested folder structures.

Re: Differences in appearance of rendered jpegs

This was recently fixed. Check the release announcements. Of course you should rebuild thumbs for these files to see the fix.

If you think this still isn't fixed then please provide screenshots and, if possible, example images.

Thank you

Re: new automatic versioning - be VERY careful

Sorry. You can adjust your workflow to fit in the current version matching or create versions by hand.

That's normal. The thumbs are loaded in a background thread so it can fully use your multiple cores.

Re: Filter by macro command

Maybe search for "0" instead of 0 (note the double quotes which typically means "exactly")

Re: new automatic versioning - be VERY careful

If Ctrl+Shift+V was, for whatever reason, accidentally pressed you always get the confirm message so it can't run without confirming it.
