Re: V4 Pricing

Michael, My email is correct and has not changed since I originally purchased PSU. I don't see any mail in my spam folder but I have no way of knowing if Comcast blocked it for some reason. I just thought I'd mention this for Hert's benefit. If others are not getting emails, it could negatively impa...

Re: V4 Pricing

FWIW, I didn't receive any email or notification either. If I hadn't been paying attention to the forum, I would not be aware of a new version.

Re: Where can I get V3

I don't want to get into a debate over this since it's really Hert's prerogative anyway. I'm just speaking my personal opinion as someone who has paid to use each version. I would think that the more fair solution would be for Hert to sell you version 3, perhaps at a discounted price, if it is versi...

Re: Where can I get V3

I'm assuming that if I purchase the V4 software, this will entitle me to use Version #3 I wouldn't make that assumption. You can always email Hert (I think his email address is support@idimager.com) or go to the support link at www.idimager.com and use the contact form to ask him that question. I w...

Re: Where can I get V3

The User Control Panel should have links to any versions you purchased. You can get there by going to cp.idimager.com. You'll need your email address and password but there is a link to recover your password if you don't know it. I think the downloads will be recent builds, if not the newest.

Re: Version 4 - Oh Dear.

There appears to be a 64-bit version for Windows. Is that not true for Mac?

Re: What is your monitor's resolution?

1440 - I have an Asus PB278. If this pole relates to the discussion about supporting 10-bit color depth, it's asking the wrong question. My monitor has a 2560 x 1440 resolution but it's still only an 8-bit device. I debated over whether or not to pay the extra money for a monitor that supports a wid...

Re: PSU default categories?

Note that PSU can also accept a GPS trail recorded on a mobile phone, so you can still match up GPS coordinates with your images even if your camera doesn't record GPS data. Mke, how do you use PSU to match individual image files with the GPS coordinates that are recorded on a mobile phone? Never m...

Re: Hide Photo Supreme

Mike, I'm not a MAC user so I'm curious, isn't there a shortcut you can use to reach the desktop on a MAC? When I google it, several solutions come up. One suggests that you can specify a keyboard shortcut of your own. If you do keep a lot on your desktop, I would think it would be useful to have su...

Re: Keywords from dc:subject and Catalog entries

Hi R_Moeller, You might also want to check your preferences. I don't know this for sure, Hert might know, but if you have two labels with the same name and you assign them both to the same file, you could end up with duplicate keywords in the dc:subject field if your preferences are set to add keywo...

Re: Unable to clear State/Province

I'm only guessing here so ignore me if this doesn't apply to you. It sounds like you are trying to remove the metadata from your files by using the details panel. If you have labels assigned to those same files and the labels are configured to write metadata to the fields from which you are clearing...

Re: Labels assign to field "State"

Phosy, Now you're starting to understand the power of a label in Photo Supreme (PSU). It is the mechanism that makes managing metadata with PSU so efficient. If properly defined and structured, assigning one label to an image can accomplish a multitude of tasks. In general, it's always best to use l...

Re: Labels assign to field "State"

From your screen shots I will assume that when you say "Flag" what you mean in Photo Supreme terms is "label". A label can represent a keyword but it does not necessarily have to. I'm not a German speaker but with the help of Google I think I identified your issue. In the label details, under the Me...

Re: Image no longer dispalys - invalid size

That's odd. I don't recall specifying a file name with an extension. I let Photoshop rename it using the original file name. I would have sworn that Photoshop added the extension. I might have accidentally selected png as file type because that it what Photoshop defaults to in the export dialog but ...

Re: Image no longer dispalys - invalid size

It seems that using the "Export" function in Photoshop will result in a jpg with no metadata included. If I use the "Save As" function then the metadata does get embedded. I'm a little new to Photoshop so I could use some tips from anyone with more experience. What is the best way to export jpegs fr...
