automatically make DNG versions during download or import?
Hi Hert?
Is it possible in PSU to convert NEFs to DNGs during import/download without loosing the original NEF? Is it possible to version that auto-generated DNG to a specific placeholder during import/download?
Thanks,
Frank

re-organize catalog in PSU?
Hi Hert, I am wondering how one goes about re-organizing part of the catalog in PSU? (1) relocate labels: How do I relocate a label from one part of the tree to a different one? Is that only possible via "drag & drop"? I am asking because my label hierarchies are mostly quite deeply nested and I fin...

rename script in PSU Import?
Hi Hert, trying out PSU import... I really do like the idea of combine the IDI downloader and import into one single PSU Import. Much more intuitive! Now, I have almost found my way through it all and the options make a lot of sense. What I cannot find is how to use pre- and post-processing scripts....

Re: version indicator in PSU
First of all, stop expecting PSU to be identical to IDI. No need to be antagonistic: You said you don't recommend using IDI and PSU side and asked why I wanted to use IDI along PSU and what particular functionality I was missing. So, that is what I am doing. I am trying to see if using "PSU only" i...

version indicator in PSU
Hi Hert, It took me very long to finally detect that versioned images in PSU have a tiny tab at their top right. This is so inconspicuous that it is virtually impossible to see quickly which images in a folder are versioned and which aren't. Any chance to re-enable the version indicator in PSU? Than...

Re: assign new label with path
OK, but re-writing ALL labels for 70,000+ images, I don't know if that is a good idea. BTW, I have been using Lightroom delimited keywords since IDI offered that option.

Re: assign new label with path
Btw; I'd like to discourage you from writing delimited keywords. Use the Lightroom Keywords instead (even if you don't use Lightroom) Is there a GOOD reason why you discourage to use delimited keywords in PSU ? The two delimited keywords "people::photographer::John Doe" and "people::family & friend...

Don't think I am part of that inner circle...

Re: Photo Supreme wins my vote
Fair enough, but I had of course hoped for some response addressing the possibility to open up Supreme fro plugins that would allow it to be "upgraded" for advanced users...!? Hert: I can understand if you are p***d with my overall negative feedback recently, still, frustrations among former IDI use...

Re: Photo Supreme wins my vote
Hi everyone, it seems ironic, but I actually much appreciate this post. I am among those who are very disappointed by the recent decision to discontinue IDI and was and still am fairly upset how all this was communicated. Still, reading many of the complaints and responses here on the forum I begin ...

Re: file-manager
You're expecting PSU to be what IDimager is. I mentioned many times that they are different tools and aren't comparable. BTW; IDimager is not killed. Further development has stopped. The software continues to run, you can still send support questions to support@idimager.com (or use the forum), you ...

Re: file-manager
I might be in danger of stating the obvious here:PSU is a DAM tool, not a File Manager. Use a File Manager for this; for instance Windows Explorer.
DAM stands for Digital Asset Management. A File Manager manages files, which ARE digital assets.
