No Sorting checked. I don't see a Sort Manually in the pop up list.
In the portfolio view No Sorting is the same as Sort Manually. Confusing naming in my opinion.

Re: Cannot sort manually

Just tested - manual sort still works for portfolios. AFAIK this is the only place where you can manually sort.

update File Maintenance doco for Verify Folders

The latest Help > Quick Start manual PDF for file management 0.52 suggests the Verify Folder menu is just a single menu item, whereas I now see (after mention by Hert) there is now, among others, Verify Folder All & Quick functions. I haven't been actively following the forum recently & a quick foru...

Re: Anybody suffering start up problems ?

All the release notes say for Build 3008 is "Fix for a slight performance loss when retrieving images from the catalog"? Sounded like far more than a slight performance loss. I assume it is "safe" to upgrade?

Re: script Search by Partial File Name not working

I don't suppose a script has any meta-data saying what version it was tested with/ written for?

BTW just tested the search script - blindingly fast. Glad I came across it, so thanks!

Re: script Search by Partial File Name not working

Ahh. Thankyou Hert. Are there other scripts like that? Can I tell? I see this particular script now has a special requirement of V5, but others make no mention of needing a specific version.

script Search by Partial File Name not working

I followed the Installation & Usage Instructions @ https://repository.idimager.com/openresource.asp?GUID=17001B6EEEAA45C2918338829E0E3524. I entered a partial filename, eg "1225" (without the double quotes), a blank worksheet was opened. I tried a few partial filenames but nothing was displayed. Am ...

Re: A couple of suggestions

Not using PSU's Import Module? I stopped using it long ago because it often crashed. Maybe it works now but I've never gone back to investigate. I found it more reliable to right click on a folder in the LHS Folder panel & Verify the folder from there. Because my (Windows) structure is (essentially...

Re: compression very lenthy

I haven't used the scripter before now. The above script worked, because registry value REG_SZ \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\IDimager Systems, Inc.\IDI\CheckLastCompactDatabaseOnStartup is set to 0. However it is disconcerting that there is no user feedback when the Run button is clicked. I clicked it...
