Re: Lightroom Workflow
In direct response, I really only want my identified "to be modified" images to be in Lightroom. So a complete duplication would be overreach. Not necessarily a bad overreach, but it's beyond my ideal situation. There's a few things you stated here that I and others might find useful for you to expa...

Re: Lightroom Workflow
I'll post to this when I have a bit more detail about how I'm managing LR into the flow. Right now, on a strictly temp basis, I'm exporting to a specific folder from PSU (named "PSU Export to LR") and using that to import to LR library. The obvious flaw is that I'll have a bunch of images sitting in...

Re: Lightroom Workflow
Thanks for the links. Interesting stuff there. Some of it way more detailed and picky then I want. Some of you all would be dissatisfied with the dogs breakfast that I maintain of a folder organization underneath the "Pictures" folder, but it works well enough for me. The challenge I'm trying to ove...

Lightroom Workflow
Hey, all:
I've seen several mentions of a forum topic that specifically discusses the workflows involved with PSU and Lightroom together. I cannot find these topics. Anybody want to hit me with some links?
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Merging Two Catalogs
Thank you for the thorough response. I'll give this a try *sometime* but not now. It seems risk-heavy and as the two databases I'm intending to merge have upwards of 40k images each, I'm a little gun shy.

Merging Two Catalogs
Long story short, I'd like to merge two large catalogs. I see two methods + one: 1) Merge the catalogs through some PSU functionality: Is this possible? This is my preference 2) Write the tags to all my images then reimport them into the second catalog. This will be messy and will it even work? 3) M...

Re: Fixing an Incorrect Folder Mapping
All right, it's half fixed. The images are there, BUT MY FOR CATALOG ASSOCIATIONS. The tags aren't showing up on the images.
is there a way to look at my catalog file to ensure that the drive/folder name combination is the one that is in my catalog?

Re: Fixing an Incorrect Folder Mapping
The drive in question is an external hard drive. At the time I took the screenshot it was disconnected from the computer (Macbook in this case). When the drive is plugged in all the red indications are gone.

Fixing an Incorrect Folder Mapping
I am remapping my old catalog to a new drive location, but there's been a hiccup. The mapping has spawned several subfolders that don't exist. For example, the correct mapping is to From_TB_Vol\Images, however the mapping is currently showing From_TB_Vol\Images\Images\Images. Those extra two "Images...

Re: Main File Versioning not picking RAW
The Good: Destroying the version set and reversioning works for existing image sets.
The Bad: This still does not effect new image imports. The JPG is being assigned as the main version.

Re: Main File Versioning not picking RAW
I've already followed the instructions in the help to the best of my ability. PS is currently set to RAW FIRST, I've created new folders and copied RAW and associated JPG from "clean" (Not touched by PS) folders and the JPG is still picked as the main. I double checked the preferences, ran the Versi...

Main File Versioning not picking RAW
After installing, Photo Supreme defaulted to "JPG than RAW" for selecting the main version of a file. After changing the setting to "RAW else JPG" I reran the import. No effect. I tried other settings and PS will not put the RAW file as the main version. I followed instructions from other threads ab...
