Re: Find images with sidecars?

Thank you Hert!

Thank you for the very fast response, thank you for the script.

I just tested it, it is extremely useful and way more flexible than what I had in mind :D

Find images with sidecars?

Now that build 4390 introduced HEIC and MOV files as sidecars of each other I am wondering…. Is it possible to find all HEIC/MOV pairs in the catalog? I can easily find all HEIC files, but I see no way to drill down to only the HEIC files having a MOV sidecar. Thinking of it, it might be just as use...

Re: Photo Supreme V7 is available

I upgraded today. Given that this is a major version bump I was prepared for something unexpected, but the process went extremely smooth.
From the release notes: Added "Mirror File Read Only" setting in the Import Module - Thank you for this one, highly appreciated! :D

Re: Searching for images in specific folders

Yes they are, they are all derived from out-of-camera files. The out-of-camera files are the main versions, all derived files are subversions.

Re: Searching for images in specific folders

I could not find a back-up which did not show the @path behaviour, so I tried to do some troubleshooting. First of all I exported the settings of my production catalog using the Export Import Preferences script from the repository. Next I created a fresh Test catalog and imported the settings from m...

Re: Searching for images in specific folders

Try this: [...] That worked here If it works there and it works @G8DHE it should work here as well. But it does not...... In order to eliminate database errors I backed up the database. No warnings during the "Checking database integrity" phase so I suspect it should be OK? Anyway, just t...

Re: Searching for images in specific folders

Try (using the screen shot above) "*\Developed@Path" the leading "*" will pickup all the single level of higher folders shown. Thank you for trying and showing how it works for you, it seems that I was missing something, misunderstood that a complete path is required in stead of...

Re: Searching for images in specific folders

That would certainly be an option, but I would have to locate all the Developed images first before I can set a label. I think it could be done at ingest time when the images are imported into the catalog, but to do it now, when there are so many Developed folders I would have to manually find and o...

Searching for images in specific folders

In my workflow images processed by raw converters are stored in dedicated subfolders named Developed I use a main folder for each shooting date, so there are quite a number of Developed subfolders. I would like to see all images in the Developed folders present in the catalog. From the Quick Start –...

Re: How to enter letters with accents on Mac?

This is just to say thank you Hert!

Build 6.6.0.3991 installed this afternoon.

I am very happy to see it not only fixes the accented letter issue but also that it is now a universal application for Apple Silicon M1 :D

Thanks, glad I am not alone ;)
Copy / paste works of course, why did I not think of this.......

How to enter letters with accents on Mac?

I would like to use accented characters like ë in labels. On a Mac one would press and hold the e key and after a moment a menu pops up offering the choices for that letter. This mechanism seems not to work within PSU, when I press and hold the e key a series of e characters are typed. I wonder if t...
