Re: Picture quality very bad
Without Full Loading, PSU shows you the preview that is stored in the database (and created during thumb building). Full Loading, loads the full image from file. I understand that. But the program must scales it back to the display down. For me it looks like this: The more scaling then it has to be...

Re: Picture quality very bad
I did a video yet. When the picture changes, I do it with the cursor: Please delete your video. It shows you Google API key, which makes it prone for misuse! I've deleted the link to it. Oh, I forgot that. I deleted the videos. Try this: Instead of opening the image with a mouse double click, press...

Re: Picture quality very bad
Hi Hert,
Thanks for the support.
I did a video yet. When the picture changes, I do it with the cursor:
youtu.be/xxxxxxxx
What else can I do?
[edit Hert; deleted the link to the video]
Thanks for the support.
That's different for me.

Re: Picture quality very bad
I discovered something else.
That's with Preview: That's with Adjust. Without having changed: That's good. If I switch back to Preview, it's bad again.

Re: Picture quality very bad
I have now put input and output on SRGB. The color representation does not jump anymore. The file handling settings I set to None. Before Elementary. 3 hours ago I thought it is good now after restart and rebuild of thumbnail. But now: This is with Windows (same in Lightroom, Photoshop, Paint, ...):...

Re: Picture quality very bad
I have now tested it in more detail. But first on color management. I tried all entries in the Output Profile and also turned off the color management. hc_518.png I can not see differences in color or brightness. Does that work correctly? But the real problem is "Load FULL SIZE Image". It should imp...

Re: Picture quality very bad
The Input profile was originally empty. That's why I selected the monitor profile. Now I have changed it. hc_515.png But the problem remains. The video shows that a short time it is displayed correctly. It's okay with you. But not with me. Especially the noise is bad. You can see it in the video. Wh...

Picture quality very bad
The view in the preview and full screen is the picture quality very bad. At high ISO it is worse. I think it also has to do with the crop. I edited the picture in Lightroom and Photoshop removed the noise. In all display programs, it looks good. See the difference in PSU and, for example, in Adobe B...

Re: Why are the higher-level fields not written?
Through a tip from Frank, I made a label in the Detail Profile where the contents of the fields of Darwin Core is deleted. hc_455.png Then label added, saved, label removed, saved. From this time everything is written as it should. Also in the hierarchy. Strangely, the photos had a problem with whom...

Re: Why are the higher-level fields not written?
Somehow it seems to be a problem with Darwin Core after all. Without a hierarchy, I have specified the fields in the mapping. Only the Darwin Core fields are not written. hc_440.png hc_441.png I don't know why "Familie" is written. I tried something before. Only Taxon Family can be found in the XMP....

Re: Why are the higher-level fields not written?
Hi Frank,
I removed the label from the photo, saved it, added it back and saved it again. Nothing changes.
Unfortunately, I can't use Darwin Core like this.

Re: Why are the higher-level fields not written?
Hi Frank,
I assigned the labels as you described. I did not select "Process parent mapping" because I selected it in the Preferences. But I also tried the way you described it.
With new photos, it works as desired. That means the settings are correct. But it doesn't work with the old photos.
