Re: versionning

unless you consider development settings to be non-technical. You can create a text file in PSU's app data folder. Name the file XMPTagCascadeIgnoreList.dat and add whatever you'd like to have ignored on cascade, in this case add a line crs:* to delete all crs data. Then restart PSU because PSU rea...

Re: Strange time zone

I am just testing PSU v6 so far to see if the issue I had with v5 are gone, and then I will commit to buy it. So in this case where would you get the latest version. I re-downloaded it from the trial, but it did not upgrade to 3591
thank you

on the attached snapshot you can see that the window does not have its own frame top edge. The grey bar is the top edge of the main window frame

versionning

Hello, I am testing the v6 espescially the versioning I had indeed some issue with latest version that would systematically remove the lightroom edits from the files (i.d: make all versions share the same development setting = all versions become the same) So far it looks much better, I have only se...

Re: How to avoid versioning? HELP

Thank you Hert. Unfortunatelly When that happened the option to cascade the metadata was not used. I could do with stacking, but I liked the idea of versionning being different from stacking. I think your software is maybe not the most stable but definitively the best I have tested in terms of usabi...

Re: How to avoid versioning? HELP

Hi Hert, Are sure that versionning only affects catalog Labels. Is it new. In my experience it was synchronising most xmp metadata: this how I ended up with all my stacked dng version of a photo being exactly similar. The develop metadata of lightroom were synchronised to be the same across all the ...

Version satcking Removes all non destructive edits by LR,... and is not visible because the previews are not updated

Continuing with the database being corrupted by editing versions placeholder, I relized that the search on the name a of specific version was returning all the versions because PSU as copied the metadata of my Monochrome photos to all of my versions. I Never pressed the option to propagate the metad...

Re: Database corruption

So I removed one of the version pile from the database, which ended up in removing all color versions of the photo but only 1 photo in Monochrome version. So I reimported the color version and while there is no more version pile, if I look for *dev.dng (the way I call monochrome versions of my photo...
