Re: Finding places names that have no Geo Location data
Sorry for not responding sooner snowman1 and Hert, I have been without internet access for a few days. Sorry that my question was ambiguous but I wanted to list catalog place entries that did not have any location (lat/long) data assigned and Hert's script provides exactly what I asked for, thank yo...

Finding places names that have no Geo Location data
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to search for catalog place names that do not have "Geo Location" data assigned to them?

Re: Google Maps not loading
Thank you Hert, that has resolved my issue. I am sure I won't be the last person to be tripped up by the change that Google have made to how their API services are accessed. I read the v4 Geo Tag help pdf and whilst it did provide a link to the Google API web site I think more detailed instructions ...

Google Maps not loading
Since upgrading to v4.2 I can't get Google Maps to appear using the Geo Tag feature. I am currently running 4.2.0.1649. I have read the posts regarding similar issues and have obtained a personal API key (reluctantly supplied my billing details). After adding the API key I still keep getting an "Oos...

Re: Dynamic Filter "not" filter option
Thanks Tom, this is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't think to try right licking on the filter item.

Dynamic Filter "not" filter option
The dynamic filter feature is great but is limited to "and" or "or" filter options. Is there a way for doing "not" filtering?

Re: Keyboard shortcut to copy/paste labels
My apologies, I had a browser bookmark for the keyboard shortcuts but it was still pointing to the V2 shortcuts page.

Keyboard shortcut to copy/paste labels
I know you can copy/paste labels from from one image to another using the label assignment search menu but I don't believe there are keyboard shortcuts to copy/paste labels from one image to another. I think in some circumstances keyboard shortcuts for these functions would speed up the label assign...

Re: Slow label list generation
I have 16GB of RAM so I hope that is not a limitation, hard drive performance might be an issue but I have the applications and images on different physical drives. Other than installing a SSD I am not sure how to improve disk performance easily. Other applications such as Photoshop perform satisfac...

Re: Slow label list generation
I know what you mean Mike, SP appears to be a little better than IDimager in this respect but still has its issues around responsiveness. I tend to accept PS's quirks because when it works it does everything I require so well (well, almost everything). However today this issue as been frustrating me.

Slow label list generation
When assigning labels in PS a drop down list of existing labels is built as you type. Normally the list is populated within a reasonable time but sometimes it takes much longer than normal. I often experience delays of >30 seconds and occasionally the list is never built even though I know the label...

Re: Geo Tag location and default zoom level
I do use favourites, I would be happy if the last used favourite was remembered between IDimager sessions. To me this would make more sense than assuming everyone lives in New York

Re: Geo Tag location and default zoom level
Most of my photographs are take within a 20km radius of my house and it would be nice to have a "save current location and zoom level as default". Not a major issue, just a nice to have, especially as IDimager has a global customer base.

Geo Tag location and default zoom level
Is it possible to modify the default location and zoom level on the Geo Tag map?
The default location appears to be New York as seen from the International Space Station

Re: Read only database
Hi Hert,
As I only wanted to "lock" the databases occasionally I hoped there might be a way of achieving this with the single user version.
If this is not possible I will have to consider moving to the server version.
Regards,
Roman
