Re: Alternating Red Folders

I just created a new catalogue and imported my RAWImages folder and immediately it is showing the wrong path and is red. I'll raise something in mantis but this is looking very odd.

Re: Alternating Red Folders

I see the problem, I think. In the first scenario the drive is listed as FastRAID and in the second it is MacintoshHD. The RAWImages and the OfflineRAWImages are on different physical drives. It seems to be getting confused. When I select to re-map the drive it does bring up the dialogue with the co...

Alternating Red Folders

Not sure if this is a bug or something I'm doing so thought I would ask here before raising in Mantis. I've upgraded to v5 and followed each update as it has come out, currently on build 2346. I've just noticed a problem with folders. I have one set of folders showing in Red. If I remap them then I ...

Re: Facial Recognition Instructions

Hi paulrbarnard Thanks for sharing this info! It sounds very interesting, and I am certainly considering Tag That Photo now... :-) You explain that the name tags applied by Tag That Photo fits well into the Label structure, you use in Photo Supreme. Can I ask, do you have "sub categories" within th...

Re: Facial Recognition Instructions

I recently used TagThatPhoto to detect the people in my images. I had to pay for it to get it to write to xmp but having done that the areas all show up fine in PS and the names all fitted in with the existing people labels I had setup in PS. Overall I was impressed how well this worked. As an aside...

Re: Display on Map - Error Message

Mikki I had the same issue after upgrade. I needed to go into Google API and reselect the required API. I didn't enable restrictions just unchecked and rechecked the Maps APIs.

Re: Version indicator tabs are not shown on a 5K display

I was having the same issue on a retina display MacBook. The 2401 build fixed it for me as well. Great response Hert!

Re: How to get rid of a relation?

I had the same issue with face area relation. I had a relationship that was linked to the wrong label but couldn't find a way to change the relationship. Looks like delete then re scan for faces then link to the right person is the only option.

Re: Embedded Viewer not working

Hert, thanks for the reply. I had changed nothing in the "Other File Extensions" for a long time. I added .lmnr about a year ago... The other interesting aspect is that this morning it is back to the original operation and the embedded viewer is working. That prompted me to check this post to see if...

Embedded Viewer not working

A short time ago I enabled the default viewer to be a second screen. I decided I didn't like it and switched back to the embedded viewer option. However it doesn't work. If I double click an image the image displays in the OS-X Preview app. If I hit space bar then I get a floating window, which I as...

Re: Wrong size Thumbnail

One other datapoint now i think about it. The original data was imported from Lightroom. That image had a crop applied in Lightroom. I'm guessing that the PS catalogue is applying the crop that was imported from Lightroom.

Wrong size Thumbnail

I just updated to 4.3.2.1927 this morning. I then opened a RAW file from Photo Supreme into CaptureOne. I did a quick edit including a crop. I exported a JPG after edit. I then imported the JPG into Photo Supreme but the Thumbnail appears to have the crop applied twice. I've rebuilt Thumbs, removed ...

Re: Newbie question regarding Portfolios

Hi Rhod, I'm walking the same path as you. I started a week ago and got to the purchase it stage today. If you had already done some labelling in Lightroom before importing to PSU you can make use of the previous data. As others have said build a tree of categories then you can merge the Lightroom, ...

Re: QUESTION: what is your nr1 reason to use Photo Supreme

Tagging primarily, closely followed by the ability to launch a choice of editors, versioning is also looking to be very useful and something I didn't know I was missing... Life has never been the same for me since Apple killed Aperture. I've muddled through with various options and am fortunate to h...
