Re: PSU v4: Profiles menu not readable

I have this issue as well as some others. See this post reporting the same issue http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=26805 and with other drop downs http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=26864&sid=f4f80c252da336436eef71fb679d36c2 It seems to only impact some computer configuratio...

Re: Photosupreme batch add item, Macro selection

Yes, I have the same issue. 1 The batch Add Item list is too narrow as is the Stored Batches drop down. This is probably the same issue as the “Import profile dialog truncated” item at http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=26805 There seems to be an issue with drop down widths with some vid...

Re: Import profile dialog truncated.

I get the same thing on Windows 10, PSu version 4.0.1.1125 (64bit). It has been in at least the last couple of releases but I am sure it wasn't in the first couple of releases (4.0.0.985 onwards). Again, it is a minor glitch so I haven't bothered reporting it.

Ok. Thanks for your responses everyone. I will try to ignore the out of sync indicators.

Re: Best Practice for Version Sets

Ok. I have unticked the Read IDimager ICS scheme. XMP files are being created for each RAW (ORF) file. I repeated the test importing the files as above with the suggested setting change. After importing, the versions are detected as expected. No images show the orange out of sync dot but verify fold...

Re: Best Practice for Version Sets

Ok. Silence obviously means no one else can be having this issue and is unique to me. I have done some controlled testing and my thoughts above are not true. There are some issues, but it is definitely not due to the file names. For my test, I copied 4 Raw/JPG photo pairs and 4 non-pairs directly of...

Re: Sort by Script

I have overcome the issue with your hints. I checked the program directory and there was no scripts subdirectory. This was the cause of the issue. I reinstalled V4.0.0.985 and the sort by script poped up the script list to choose. The script directory was back under the program directory as expected...

Re: Sort by Script

The bulk of my photos are of orchid flowers. When cataloguing, I set the Headline to the orchid name. When looking at my orchid flower photos, I normally want to sort by Headline and filename grouping the photos of each species together rather than a cronological sorting by filename or photo date. P...

Sort by Script

When selecting sort by script in the View, Sorting display settings, the script box is not popping up for me in V4.0.1.996. The thumbnails don't change order so the sort by script doesn't appear to do anything. I have rebooted my PC, but no change. Is this a bug, has the way you specify the sort scr...

Best Practice for Version Sets

I have been trialing version 4 and so far no issues. I do like the new GUI layout I must say. However, I still have an issue with version sets, the same as I did with version 3 but never made the effort to resolve. I suspect this is to do with how I do things rather than Photo Supreme, but I am not ...

Re: beginner's questions: keywords, JPG+RAW etc

When I am viewing photos in a folder, I see two thumbnails for each JPG RAW version set, as designed. To catalogue, I use Filter, and set the Type to just display the RAW photos. This gives me one thumbnail for each version set in the folder. I then rate and catalogue the RAW photos and then use 'Ca...
