No rotation on PhotoLab processed files

I suddenly noticed that some of my jpegs was not properly rotated in PSu after import. It appears that NEFs developed with Photolab 2 are not properly rotated and stay in landscape orientation even though they were taken in portrait. Imported NEF + jpeg shot in portrait do gets rotated and displayed...

Re: PSU V4.3, OSX 10.14, Luminar 2018

Hmm. Windows compatibility was a nice find.
I’ll play around with and and see if I could find way to make it even more compatible.

Yes. Luminar seems like a raw developer with fast performing tool to reach acceptable photos.
I’ll test some more and get back.

Re: PSU V4.3, OSX 10.14, Luminar 2018

I downloaded Luminar to take a look at it and what is does as I've never used it. :) I have to say that I'm confused about how they have solved things. They are not following anyone else or common practices. At best it saves a side car bundle ".lmnr" in the same dir as the original raw file. But onl...

Re: PSU V4.3, OSX 10.14, Luminar 2018

Sounds very strange that Luminar would need you to open the side car and not the photo to be able continue a previous edit. If you in PSu select the photo you want to edit and then type ‘shift-f’ PSu will find the photo in the finder. Do you see both the raw as well as the lmnr side car file there? ...

Re: Do you backup thumbnail database?

Even though I back both photos and DBs to two different locations, anything that makes it simpler is really appreciated.

Re: download/import skips images

Just an idea. Could this be a race condition where the script renaming process sometimes difference in time or are processed by a different thread. So some gets skipped during cache work or post renaming process but pre writing file? Or during post writing but pre renaming? Any difference in which f...

Unable to remove/delete folder

Dont ask me how or why but after doing something I have a non-used Folder in PSU server which is off line and not reachable.
The name of it is TEST.JPG
I don't want it there, but even if I select Remove as admin it re-appears after relaunch of PSU.

How do I remove it for real? :)

Re: FATAL: sorry, too many clients already

Great. Will try 200 sessions and see if there's any performance or memory impacts in either direction for clients and the server. Thanks again. btw As I've not seen any of this before, could it be due performance and efficiency enhancements done to PSU in which it works faster and the 100 connection...

Re: FATAL: sorry, too many clients already

Yes I have followed your guide and the max_connections is set to 100.

If I understand PSu correctly it opens up a new connection and logs in for each db query and then drops it only to log in once again etc.
Could it be that the PSu open and closes them too fast for the server to close them down?

FATAL: sorry, too many clients already

I've been getting a lot of these warnings and the following disconnects when I import files. I have the postgres to accept 100 connections as recommended with five users although only I as admin was loged in. What I could see on the server was that 4-6 Postgres processes was running at 90% CPU but a...

Re: compact catalogue failed?

I'm doing a compacting of the catalogue db running 4.30.1755 Postgres. And even though the PSu application shows a spinning beach ball and 0.0% progress even after 10 minutes, the server was working hard. Although a single thread of postgres processing at 100%. After 15 minutes the 100% load from th...

Re: download/import skips images

I will try this later today on my Mac and see what happens.
I shoot NEF+jpeg as well but into separate memory cards.

What happens if you manually move your images to a folder on disk and import/rename them via script from there.
Still problems?
