Re: Issue with XMP file creation

Does not DPP features a feature for renaming images which can be ran when even you move or re-arrange the sorting order in DPP itself?

Could that have been enabled by mistake?

Re: photo supreme mac how can I add a command line via automator

You could do an Applescript something like this. Make sure you set your username and correct path and name to PSu v4 and it's DB. set theDialogText to "Choose version of PhotoSupreme to launch." display dialog theDialogText buttons {"Cancel", "PhotoSupreme v4", "PhotoSupreme v5"} default button 3 ca...

Re: Remove from stack / destroy stack

I tried this on a 1800 image stack. Unstack one photo (the last one) from a 1800 image stack. PSu did think 3 seconds then unstacked it in a second. All done in 4 seconds. I then selected the stack with 1799 images in together with the single image previously unstacked. The stacking process needed t...

Re: Small correction

Thank you. How many images are within the same stack you are trying to modify? One stack 10 images? or one stack 1200 images.? PSu seems to hang after remove from stack / desteroy stack because it becomes unresponsive. I found out that PSu will recover after about 70 seconds, which is a lvery long t...

Re: Remove from stack / destroy stack

How may images do the stack contains?
Are you on the single or server version?

When I managed to create stacks with 1700 images the PSu server version appeared to get stuck but the Postgres instance processed everything in the background correctly.

Best practice - mixed macOS and Windows

What would the best practice be when running PSu server version in mixed environments when it comes to server paths for the stored images? We want to be able to mount the share without path mapping problem no matter on which OS we mount it. The share is a smb off an Mac mini. Clients are several mac...

With the same images which I had moved into the VM. It was far slower. And it appeared as is PSu rebuilt the thu...

Re: Trial version - Internet connect

This will probably be in conflict with your company's IT Policy - but you could setup a Virtual Machine running the OS, sql/pg db as well as PhotoSupreme and then set up the VM to use a proxy out to internet. VirtualBox is free and you can download evaluation versions of a Microsoft system of your c...
