Re: Fatal errors in my PostgreSQL-Installation

Michael,

quite a bad idea.

Both on Windows Machine or better both on separate machine (if possible both on your NAS machine).

Re: Someone with german keyboard here?

Thanks.

@Hert
It would be nice if you could define the shortcuts yourself. At least for those who are dependent on (keyboard) language.

Re: Automatic reading of changes in XMP files?

Now PSU does not recognize itself if the XMP files on the disk have changed. That's a pity, but now..... when you know this. What PSU urgently needs is a read after write feature. So that the database is up to date after the XMP files have been written. Otherwise PSU recognizes them as newer at "ver...

'Labels' are unique to PSu and are stored in the catalog. They are always hierarchical.
After 8 months with PSU I still don't really know what to think about it. (fine or bad)
But why do you mean they are always hierarchical? I think "Label" is only top level "Keyword'

Someone with german keyboard here?

Hi,

Hert told me - its works - and I believe its true - but here I can't rotate images with keyboard [ ] (AltGR + 8 and AltGR +9). The same with alternatives (^ and $). Nothing happens here.
I this a issue with other than englisch keyboards or its only by myself?

Settings - ICS on/off and why?

PSU has in setting by sync settings - write/ read ICS schema.
What are the benefit or disadvantages of this setting? the XMP files are sometimes also written by other software

Re: Who can write script for me (and maybe others)?

Hi Hert, And for a script you can use this script as a framework not framework - its all what I needed. Select my preferred images. Copy them names to clipboard. Than I can run my Powershell Script and give them clipboard as input. Of course I can extend the PascalScript so that everything happens i...

Re: Who can write script for me (and maybe others)?

but you said that you can’t write scripts. No PascalScript - thats correct. PowerShell, Bash or AppleScript is another thing :D Your bat file should pass on the parameters to the power script if you insist on using powerscript But it's not. I've tried it I'll see where I can find something about Pa...

Re: Who can write script for me (and maybe others)?

I'm sorry, I can't do that either. I can write powershell.exe -f "MyScript.ps1" in a cmd but no parameter is passed to the script.

Is it not possible to realize it as PascalScript? Or maybe some other idea

Re: Who can write script for me (and maybe others)?

I'm not sure if we are talking about same thing.
Do you mean this menu? I can select here powershell.exe but I can't give them a parameter like -f "myScript.ps1"

Re: Who can write script for me (and maybe others)?

Hi Hert, well unfortunately it doesn't really work as a 3-rd party tool :( This is my PowerShell script. Param ( [Parameter(Mandatory = $true,Position = 0)][String]$file ) $logPath = "C:\PowerShell\Logs" $logName = "psu2dpp.log" $version = "1.0" $directory = 'c:\temp\DPP' $executable = 'C:\Windows\S...

Re: Who can write script for me (and maybe others)?

Hi Hert, I will try that. PowerShell or AppleScript is not a big problem for me ;) But how do I find out which files are in my collection and what the physical path on the hard disk is to it? First I create a PowerShell script which takes exactly 1 parameter and then creates hardlink for the file. A...
