Re: PSU created folders in catalog when I told it to ignore
Never mind. I assumed that "ignore this folder" meant that PSU would ignore it and not add it to the tree structure. But it does add it and then marks it as an ignored folder. It would be nice if there was a way to hide ignored folders but that's just me.

PSU created folders in catalog when I told it to ignore
I just used the "verify folder Quick" function on a folder that has several sub-folders that another photo editor uses. These folders do not contain images so I marked those folders to "ignore this folder" in the verify results. However, PSU added all those folders to the catalog. Why would that be?

Loving Photo Supreme!
I was an Idimager user about 10 years ago, having used version 3, 4, and 5 after using iMatch for a while. I absolutely loved IDI. But when Idimager became Photo Supreme, much of what I loved was gone. Although I missed the power of IDI and Hert’s great support, when Lightroom went on sale, I bought...

Re: confused about search bar
Well, now I feel pretty stupid. No, don't ever assume that I am doing anything correctly :). I was using the search bar on the upper left. I don't know why I didn't see the actual search bar on the upper right. I guess that once I saw a magnifying glass icon on the lest my focus just went there. It ...

confused about search bar
I have been mostly using the catalog tree or dynamic searches to locate images. I just tried to use the search bar. The Quick Manual - Searching states "enter a search term and press enter. That’s it; nothing more to it." If I type a catalog label, suggestions pop up and I can click on them to perfo...

Portfolio accessibility
Could someone please explain the portfolio accessibility settings in PSU Single User edition? Public, Private, and Published. What does changing the setting actually do, or is it just for my own information?

Re: A couple of suggestions
Not using PSU's Import Module? Wow, any reason why not? It should offer every possible feature needed to ingest, it's fast, and it's integrated. BTW; also check your mouse settings in the OS I do use the import module for the reasons you mention. It's no big deal about automatically starting the im...

No. PSU is the only app where this happens.

Hert, here's a screen capture. Each step is also one nudge of the mouse wheel but, unlike yours, it moves about 8 rows with each nudge.

Yes. Scrolling is much improved, thanks! But it still jumps 3 lines for each notch of the wheel.

Re: Big fan but one thing drives me crazy. :)
I have to say that I agree with Rhod. For me, on Mac Catalina, each notch in the scroll wheel jumps 3 lines, making the mouse wheel unusable for scrolling through thumbs. . I have to use the scroll bar but I'd really prefer to use the mouse wheel.
