Re: Facial Recognition Instructions

Doesn't seem to affect me, after TTP has made changes I use PSU "Verify Folder" | "Verify Quick" to scan for files that the OS has noted as changed and then re-read the metadata, this picks up the keywords and matches them against the names I have already in my list of competitors which are in a hie...

Re: Compact Database message

I do agree!
It would be much more helpful if it warned you on entry, then at closure ask if you would like to compact now and close when complete? That way it would get done at a time when you've not explicitly opened the program to do something!

Re: Facial recognition: a new option

Using version 2.6.20212 at present all seems fine.
I guess the subscription model is OK.
Finding some oddities with .TIF files, which keep on being rescanned as if changed, not sure if its TTP or PSU possibly interacting together.

Re: Folder structure: Should I separate raw/jpg

Not sure that there is a specific answer. A lot will depend on your workflow, you can always choose what type of file to display using the filter options if they are all in the same folder. There might be an argument to say that if you can separate the RAW and processed images onto physically separa...

Re: database is locked

Waiting till SQLite has finished its work often works or close it and try again also works.

Re: Version Detection finds one file too many

The file match criteria does match its %filename*.* the "-Bearbeitet" is matched by the first * the ".jpg" is matched by the second *
If the matching was %filename.* then it wouldn't match.

Re: Anybody suffering start up problems ?

Not sure my problems are associated with any code changes, there have been several W10 updates in the last few weeks and I do run a large db under SQLite. Its functioning as expected under all the versions, merely the start up of the program was affected, once in its behaving as normal.

Re: Anybody suffering start up problems ?

Right, Many thanks to Hert for his support over the last few days, its really been appreciated!
Whilst we haven't got to the cause of the problem with the database, after the first run of version 3008 the problem has gone, possibly it corrected a problem in the db and all is now fine.
