You may laugh at me, but I'm still doing so. Had a look to others including PSu, but no intention of moving somewhere else at the moment.

Re: Do you backup thumbnail database?

http://www.freefilesync.org/ just keep an eye at the installation process. Don't use the 'automatic' way. In earlier times there has been some extra 'software' but could easily selected off. BackUps are easier if you keep all personal data at an extra partition. In that case you just have to compare...

Re: Do you backup thumbnail database?

Can there be a wrong question? Normally I tend to say 'No'. But in this case? Don't ask if a BackUp is necessary or not. Do it! BackUp every file that has changed, every day. This is not related to IDimager or any other type of file. If you think that takes too long, there are tools you can start an...

Are optical corrections from DXO supported?

Hi,
once again testing and now V3:
Is it possible that PsU is not supporting all corrections handled by DxO?
I have the impression that 'optical corrections' like 'Distortion' and 'Vignetting' are not to be seen in PsU.

Re: menue font size

Ok, it is as it is.
Just to verify that I'm correct: with IDi it is different, the font size of folder structure (navigation tree) is following the system settings?
I ask as I am presenting PS to someone who can't read little fontsize any more (I have suggested to buy a 24'' monitor anyway)

menue font size

Hi,
if I set system display setting to 150 % IDimager will follow and set the font size to a reasonable size for view handicaped people.
Photo supreme don't, the fontsize of folder, label etc. will remain small.
Any way out?

Hi and good mroning, but
siehorst wrote:edit3: disabling these recipes don't solve the crashing.
By the way: it is a bit annoying that I have to be online when launching PS. At the moment I am at a little cottage in the mountains with poor internet connection ... .
Is that behaviour always the case?

Re: Constantly crashing when Building missing Thumbs

If disks space is a problem... :) ... If you can find that... How can I identify? What I've found that are jpg pictures that display nothing than a white rectangle but are displayed correct in IDi and all other software. edit: When I copy these files to a different filder, they will be displaced co...

Constantly crashing when Building missing Thumbs

I have been askesd for a recommendation of a picture database. So I loaded again PhotoSupreme to test. After importing my database I started 'Building missing Thumbs and Previews. After about 40 % PS is crashing. At that time the thumb.db is about 4.9 Gb !! My complete IDi tumb.db (33000 picures) is...
