Re: Using Standalone version with multiple logins
Will all the other things such as import profiles profiles be found too by default?
If not how can I share them between the two logins so everything ends up in the same folders with the same copyright info, etc?
Thanks

Using Standalone version with multiple logins
I have PSU on my computer & up until now I have always done the ingesting & sorting of files. Now I want to let my partner join in the fun :D What is the best way to enable access with the catalog, etc so that everything is accessible in both logins and is, as far as possible, the same for both of u...

Re: JPEG / RAW different folder on import?
I use the following code as the last part of my Subfolder import path which puts the RAWs into their own subfolder. Note the last item in the brackets is 2x ' rather than a single ". If you also want to put JPGs in their own subfolder then it just needs the name of the folder between the 2 's. resul...

Re: Sorting order changes by itself
On a related note, it would be useful to be able to set the default sorting. For example my preference would be to set the default so that Portfolios always sort by Photo Date, currently I do that manually for every Portfolio created (they usually have images from multiple devices so filenames are n...

Re: Issues with versioning in 4.1
I'm finding the same with v4.1.0.1486. "Version detection" will only work on a single pair of RAW + JPG files & sometimes not then. If I select more files no more than one pair gets versioned. I also find I'm having to run Verify Folder multiple times on the same folder to get all the RAW files to b...

Re: I presume this isn't normal behaviour?
The main issue of the veeeery slow response has been sorted with the latest version (now on v4.1.0.1486). :) Sorting mostly seems OK but a few times I've needed to quit the program & restart it to get it to work. :? But I'm now encountering problems with versioning that I haven't noticed before! :(

I presume this isn't normal behaviour?
Using Photo Supreme is definitely getting less supreme! When I start the program (v4.0.1.1125) it will have forgotten all the numbers of images in the Collections & Portfolios (the grey boxes are unpopulated). PSU then takes about 10 minutes to do whatever it has to do (using around 20% CPU all this...

Re: v4.0.1.1032 Not PSU's finest hour
Thanks. Maybe I was being harsh. I'd done a database compact before the v4 upgrade. Photos are on a NAS, database locally, but I always make sure that it is accesible before doing anything (as I have another program that sometimes struggles to pick up the network link if it isn't "live"). A restart ...

v4.0.1.1032 Not PSU's finest hour
This build spends most of its time "not responding", usually ending with a "close program" dialog after a few minutes!

v4 has broken my slideshows!
Something has changed. In v3 I could push the slideshow onto another screen (a large TV connected to the computer) using a keyboard shortcut from a screen utility that I use & the slideshow window would automatically adjust its aspect ratio to fill the TV screen. In v4 this doesn't happen I get ever...

Uploading to Flickr - not going as planned
Having found that Photo Supreme doesn't let you drag & drop like IDimager did, I finally got round to setting up the Flickr upload in "Share". Initial tests seemed to be OK but something definitely went awry uploading a batch of 160 photos to a Flickr album. The upload never seemed to complete - it ...

Re: Advice on moving images to a NAS
Rick, I would backup/copy all images to the NAS propably with a backup program that verifies the copy) Then within PSU click on the folder icon to get into the folder view. Once there, right click on the "drive old path" and then click "map to correct the physical folder" This is it. Of course you ...

Re: Advice on moving images to a NAS
Thanks.
That sounds as though it should be fairly straightforward
Any recommendations on a backup/copying program?
