Re: FTS expression tree is too large message

I just found out in the last import I mistakenly used a dash - instead of an underscore _ in my naming.
That is probably what has caused the message, will confirm when I have batch renamed the files.

FTS expression tree is too large message

I get the title message when I try to compress the catalog. I know there is another old thread mentioning FTS expression tree is too large, but the context seems to be different. I haven't deleted or moved files outside recently, which could have caused the message. While I could live ignoring it, I...

Re: Type filter shows only "All JPG" in v7

With build 4303 the old options for Versioning have been reintroduced and all has gone back to the way it was - this is great.
Thank you Hert!

Re: Type filter shows only "All JPG" in v7

I must admit I have a preference for the term Versions where its the same image that has been processed in different ways. Stacks already has a meaning in things like astronomical photography where you have a stack of similar but not identical images that are then combined to generate a single fina...

Re: Type filter shows only "All JPG" in v7

Hi, I reported the same issue or a very similar related one in this thread: https://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?t=29911 In my case I am not able to view tif files in a version set. In my workflow TIFs are derivative files, which having been created in a second stage are not the main version. As...

Re: v7 unable to display tif files

Thanks, I have seen the thread and it seems a slightly different manifestation of the same issue.
I therefore will continue the discussion on that thread.

v7 unable to display tif files

Hi, I just updated to v7 (7.0.1.4290) and am finding the following. I usually take RAW or RAW + JPG images from the camera (different raw formats depending on the camera). Then I work on my selects in Capture One and save a TIF for them, that I import in PSu. The 2-3 files are stacked versions of th...

Re: Problem with GEOtagging - inconsistent outcomes

A few further findings - I am still slightly baffled. (Cross-posted with Mke - see bottom) I carried out geotagging of "land" camera photos in HoudahGEO successfully. (I could have done the same within PSu but I find the process quicker and less error prone in Houdah GEO) For the photos fr...

Problem with GEOtagging - inconsistent outcomes

Hi, I am having trouble with inconsistent GPS tagging and location visualization in PSu, which I am going to describe below, for which I would appreciate assistance. First things first, I have a valid API key and have added the required applications described in the instructions - I know that the Go...

Re: V4.1 64bit for Mac

I have just updated PSu to the 64bit version and it seems to make a huge difference in the speed images appear, scroll and go into full screen mode.
I am not sure colour management yet works as it should, but at least the performance has now become acceptable if not good.

Re: Capture One Pro 9 with Photo Supreme Workflow

<<<Very happy with PSu and CO11, with the occasional moments of frustration with both :) I just bought the CO upgrade from version 9 to 11 without testing it first. Version 9 had solved the problem of eating all the camera meta data and so for me was much better than previous versions, However, I n...

DCraw version used in PSu?

Some time ago I posted about some problems PSu V4 not reading EXIF information from Fuji RAF files http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=26748&hilit=dcraw That specific problem has been resolved quickly. Another issue I had at that point was that I could not get large (2560 wide) pr...

Re: PSu V4 not reading Fuji RAF Exif on import?

Quick update for those following. Hert is working on an update. In the meantime, I have discovered that DCRAW does not support Fuji X-T2 raw files (2 years after launch, the flagship model?!). A preview size of 2560 was triggering DCRAW conversion, hence the error message. I have now reverted to 192...
