Re: Import freezes PSU
I dont think it is due to a particular file. I played with this issue, but it is hard to find the root cause. n particular I cannot nail it down to a single file. E.g. I have a local directory of 33 files, that fails often but always at a different file. I can import the files one by one without any...

Scan for missing files and folders
Hi Hert, I saw the latest PSU version got three new commands added to the right click menu for directories: Scan for missing folders Scan for missing files Scan for missing files and folders What is the benefit of these entries compared to verify folder ? As I understand it, verify folder already sc...

Import freezes PSU
I am importing ~100 jpg pictures located in 3 local subfolders into an empty catalog, using Import to catalog. When Synchronization service appears, PSU freezes. After restarting the pictures are there, but unsynchronized, and appear in the timeline under 1899.So I trigger the sync with cmd-s, but r...

Re: small sized slide show
It helps somewhat, but not completely. My screen resolution is 2560x1600. Hence, I'd assume setting preview size to 2560 should result in pictures fully covering my display. But that seems not to be the case. I still have a 15% wide grey frame around the picture. Only when I switch to the recommende...

small sized slide show
Hi, just switched from PSU v3 to v4, and noticed when doing a slide show the displayed picture is rather small centered in the middle but covers only 1/3 of the screen. Am I doing something wrong, are there some settings for the slide show to tune, or is this a bug? I am running on a mac Mojave, dis...

Re: Photosupreme on MAC
Such a stupid beginners mistake: I installed the standalone version of PSu and was trying to connect to a PostgreSQL Server.
Installing the PostgreSQL version on MAC worked out of the box like a dream. Thanks for the hint!

Re: Photosupreme on MAC
you might be right, at the very beginning kochar mentions SQL Server 2012, which refers to Microsoft I guess. However, it is the identical error message. You want me to open a new thread?

Re: importing from kphotoalbum
Thanks for the replies, and Sorry for the delay, i was off a few days. meanwhile I am a step further, I hacked a python script that converts the xml tags into xmp sidecar. I am currently testing it. Once I have the solution I post it here. I tagged around 20k images with kphotoalbum, so of course I ...
