Out of Memory Error
I'm attempting to upgrade the 64 bit server edition of v5 and each time I do, I receive a popup that simply states "Out of Memory". The server is running Win Server Standard 2016 and 32GB RAM.

Re: PostgreSQL: FATAL: database "xxx" does not exist
Pgadmin is installed. When I try to run it, a browser windows opens with an Unauthorized error. I was able to run a backup of the catalogue and then I ran a backup of the thumbnails. From what I understand, the db should be directly inside PostgreSQL db folder, according to the PSu Installation manu...

PostgreSQL: FATAL: database "xxx" does not exist
Connection to database failed (PostgreSQL: FATAL: database "xxx" does not exist) (0) Very random message. No updates have been done to the program although I am running v4.3.0.1775 so an update is available. This is 64 bit server edition. I have searched my server for the database file "xxx" and PSu...

Compact Catalogue Failing
When I attempt to compact the catalogue or the thumbnails I get an error:
Connection to database failed (PostgreSWL: FaTAL: database" dbname " does not exist.
Then it asks me to send the exception error - which I did.
I have been doing regular backups as I import and catalogue batches at a time.

Re: Category Gone! Help!
Well, another very hard lesson learned here. My backup will not properly restore - which is a whole other issue and not one for this thread - so, it seems I have no option but to perhaps create a new catalogue, re-injest my images, re-organize my photos.

Re: Category Gone! Help!
I just remembered!
I don't have an actual backup, but I do have a backup - from my nightly scheduled full server backup so I am going to try overwriting the database files with a previous version and see what happens. I'll report back in the AM. Wish me luck

Re: Category Gone! Help!
A click and drag would be fantastic but I don't think that's the case. When I go to the test image, with the assign panel open, and hover over the catalog label - Armstrong in this case - there appears to be no parent and the pop up says "Armstrong()". It appears now, that I spend more time on said ...

Category Gone! Help!
I'm freaking out, just a little bit. I had a category called NAMES. Within that category were subcategories. A-C; D-F; etc. Then, there were various names within each of the subcategories. ie ARMSTRONG & ANDERSON within the A-C category. Last night, I set the program to Compact the database. This mo...

Re: Messed up with Update?
So, I should d/l and run the installer again on each installation? When I d/l the .exe file, it has the same name as before but is it an updated d/l?

Re: Messed up with Update?
1) The program had been downloaded from cp.idimager.com. Then it asked for an update, which after about 10 days of getting tired of telling it "not now" I finally decided to go ahead. 2) Now, I have an admin license and a user license. I have one admin login and 2 users. PSu is installed on one serv...

Messed up with Update?
I may have messed up. I have PhotoSupreme installed on the server and a workstation. The workstation got updated which also updated the database. Now, it won't open on the server. Just throws an error about the db not being compatible and closes. Can I fix?

Concurrent User License
<t>I recently upgraded to v.4 and purchased a new license. I've installed, loaded the license and all is well. That is on the server.<br/> <br/> Now, I have installed v4 on 2 different workstations but it appears that the license is 'locked' by the admin account? I understood that there was a licens...

Re: Keyword Processing Options
How are you able to determine that you have 5,500+ images that do contain keywords? Catalogue > By Image Details > Your Custom Fields > Subjects/Keywords Is this correct: I have imported 150 images. At this point, after the import, I changed my Keyword Processing setting - in Write Settings tab - t...

Re: Keyword Processing Options
When I checked the settings, prior to starting this thread, it was set to Do Not Modify. I have since changed it to replace and imported about 150 new images.
