Re: Photo Supreme Freezing Durring Import

Thanks for replying. I work on a Mac, but our server is PC based. I haven't had problems with it in almost 2 years working with it. We have had issues viewing only thumbnails on the PCs (the folders show red on their photo supreme). The server Location is labeled ' MACSERVER/SQlExpress' . The number...

Re: Photo Supreme Freezing Durring Import

The import source is our Archives on our server. The number of images differs, depending on the photos from an event could be a few to many. Each event is given it's own folder. I get a "photo supreme not responding" message and I need to restart it.

Can Photosupreme Import Canto Cumulus files?

Hello,
Thanks to your support, I continue to import out Archives into Photosupreme. A new question: Can this software import my Canto Cumulus archives? If I'm able to do this it would unify all of our assets into one platform (Photosupreme).
Thanks!

Having Trouble Connecting Users to Database

I had difficulty connecting to the server to create a database. Somehow I manage to connect, and I have built a database of over 25,000 images. However, I am trying to view as a Catalogue User and log on with a users name and password on another computer, and I am having the same trouble connecting....

Thanks again, however I have a Mac, and can't right click. Is there a command for the Mac I can use to update thumbnails (even batch the entire catalogue at once?

Re: Question: Database= ton of GBs

Thanks for the quick response! We have a SQL server. I'll work on the previews. I changed the preview size in preference down to 1240 (should I go lower?) How do I rebuild the thumbnails?

Thanks!

Question: Database= ton of GBs

We installed Photo Supreme to our server, and I have been building a catalogue of images from our Archives. I've uploaded less than 20,000 images and MP4, mov files, and it's used over 25 GB of memory (the logs total more than half that)?!! I'm now compacting database and thumbnails, how do I compac...
