Re: Stalling frequently on startup (not-responding)
As the services running more-or-less coincided with V6 - I couldn't swear that it was at exactly the same time - I had assumed that it was a new function. When it starts without hanging it still runs those two services, but only for a couple of seconds while the interface settles. I've tried leaving...

Stalling frequently on startup (not-responding)
Over the past weeks / since V6 I have found that PSU is frequently failing to start correctly - becoming non-responsive - something that was previously a rare occurrence. It starts up with the following processes active . StallOnStartup .png . Stalls normally occur within a couple of seconds with th...

Re: Backspace vs Esc
ESC is normally working fine for me. Yesterday, for the first time, I had to use backspace after ESC failed to work. No obvious reason...

Re: Cloud Vision API error
I just had a similar experience. Strangely, the cursor seemed to be at least partially active in two places at once, which might point to a cause? Specifically: 1) If I typed in the the top-right search bar, my typing didn't appear, but the Cloud Vision warning popped up when I hit the return key. I...

Re: how do you store your images?
I have similar problems! In terms of file name, I basically follow my regular structure: ..... Photographer_Date_Camera_PhotoNumber In practice, that means I have photos labelled as unknown_c1890_scan_0001 , or unknown_1901mmdd_scan_0001_front If there is writing on the back of the image, I normally...

Re: Cloud Vision API error
It's take a while, but I just had this happen again. After working in another application, I returned to PSU and, with an image in the preview window, clicked on the search box in the LAP and starting typing to assign a label (starting with a W). PSU became non-responsive for a few moments, then ret...

Re: Copy labels/keywords to paste outside of Photo Supreme
I'd guess that the easiest way would be to import an image containing the keywords into the other app, then copy and paste within it.

Re: Cannot sort manually
We all have different ways of using PS, but personally I use folders for managing the images - there are several ways of sorting (more than I ever use), the option of filtering using multiple criteria, and the ability to create multiple sub-folders. For presentation purposes I use portfolios, where ...

Yes, in principle, provided someone offers to update this script.

Re: Dealing With Time
I do have a time category that includes dates (actual or approximate), but mainly for objects photographed that have a particular date, rather for when images were taken. Images are dated as part of my file name (see also folder and file names ). Those from digital cameras include the date within th...

Re: Unable to scroll past first 4 values of location created
Yes, I can confirm that (if no metadata has been entered in the ITPC fields).
If the fields have been populated with something - e.g. by adding GEO coordinates in the GEO Tagging panel - then it does scroll as expected.
Build 3581.

Re: Out of sync: read or write metadata?
You could use ExifTool to export the metadata from the image, and use the 'Export Metadata to CSV File' option in PSU for the same image, then compare the files.
. .
Through usage, I've learned that it's OK to trust PSU and just sync the metadata.

Build 3575 was good, 3581 flies (under 3 seconds for all the above mentioned timings). Excellent!
