Supreme V4 - Enhancement Request - Catergory Label Search X
Hi Hert In the "Green" Catergory label search a great enhancement would be a X all the way on the right to quickly clear the last search results. Also another - up for dicussion - point would be whether the box should stay populated with JUST the typed search term rather than the full result. At the...

Re: Nikon Vertical Images
Hi Mike
Email me a copy of the file and I'll have a look.
I haven't had this problem in ages so I'm also a bit stumped - but I'll investigate.

Re: QUESTION: what is your nr1 reason to use Photo Supreme
One Stop Image Management - Importing, Image Details, Catalog Labels, Geotagging, Culling and Rating - through to making it really easy to find the image.
Now if only we had face Recognition build in
And its really easy for everyone in the family to use!

Re: renaming script
Hi A late reply :-) What I have done is create a "set" of labels - having a separate label for each of the photographers in the family. And that label I assign values into the Detail Profile under Creator, etc.. Then on import I assign that label to the set of images to import (I generally only impo...

Re: How do I detect duplicates?
Hi Hert
You are quite correct !
How do I perform a Calc in a Custom Field e.g. %filesize/1024 to return the same result as Windows Explorer.
Thanks

Re: How do I detect duplicates?
Hi Hert
Just a follow up.
I added some Custom Fields to the info panel and got a strange result on file size versus file size short versus windows explorer .
Please see attached:
Should these all not be approx the same ?
Thanks

Re: How do I detect duplicates?
Hi Hert
Thanks for the fast response.
Yes - There is an "approximate and rounded" file size in the Info Panel - I guess I was looking for more details / exact - maybe in image details.
Also I cannot see the column to tick in the Grid View. Thanks

Re: How do I detect duplicates?
Hi There I am feeling a little slow this morning :-) I ran the script and came up with about 2200 files in my database. Now I want to see the filesize of the "offending" pictures - and I can't, for the life of me, remember where to see an image's file size. I tried the Image Details, Technical - Not...

Re: how can visualize all the image without these labels?
Hi
If you add each label to the dynamic search and then right click on that label in the dynamic search and select Exclude from Search.
Then run the dynamic search
This may give you the results you want
Thanks

Re: Thumbnail database too big
Hi Harald
A quick was may be to delete the thumbs database file (with Supreme closed)
Then rebuild thumbs again - starting with a New (Supreme will re create) zero sized thumbs database.

Re: Sql server version of Photo Supreme
Thanks Hert
Although I am convinced I typed the Server (d:\SQL_Data) directory into the dialogue box, even though I couldn't browse to it, and I thought the script creator didn't pick that up.
I'll uninstall and re run and retest

Re: Sql server version of Photo Supreme
Hi Hert Just some notes on the SQL Installation. 1. When I ran the setup straight from the download and at the end selected to Run Supreme I had a UAC error. 26-08-2013 08-11-01.jpg When I then ran with Admin Permissions from the start menu all was well. 2. The Initial Prompt asking whether I am pla...
