Re: Blurry fonts when normal text scale in Windows

A warm welcome to the forum. How do I fix it? If you want the best quality experience than best to use a high-res monitor or configure some scaling. With scaling enabled, there are more pixels for the OS to draw the text with which highly increases the font display quality. FYI, With scaling, PSU st...

Re: PS functionality - 2nd monitor

There is no option for that. When you open another set of images then no image is selected, hence the viewer is closed.

Re: The Details Tab is Missing Metadata

The Details section shows the fields of the editor you have selected in the Details Panel (click Details below the thumbs). From the looks of it you have the Basic editor selected there. The default is the Advanced Editor.

Re: PS functionality - filmstrip view

The closest thing that I can think off is to open the viewer on the second monitor (see preferences). The thumbs then stay on the first monitor

Re: Rogue labels - how to eradicate

How you describe it I expect that this metadata is hidden somewhere in an image file. You could use the upper right search bar and search for Bakersfield That will return all images where Bakersfield appears *anywhere* in its data. If you get a result then select the thumb, and open the Image Detail...

Re: Show which Collections are assigned to an image

That indeed got changed so that more control is given (see the Macros manual).

Use this to get the old behavior:

Code: Select all

%CatalogPortfolioList{FullPath}
Dynamic Collection are not included.

Re: Color label problem

I cannot follow here. Maybe you can share a screenshot where I should click.

In the default configuration then you would assign color labels from the thumb like this (3). I've also illustrated how to configure the thumb as the default (1 and 2).

Re: cascade date from main version

Hi Hert, This is discouraging other visitors to reply. This is a user-to-user forum ... ;) ever so often it happens that my edited files somehow get the date assigned when they were edited. I suspect that some of the editing tools I am using do that. I have been trying to resolve this by cascading ...

Re: Search help

Even a minute is extremely long imho. Probably one of the search parts have large result sets.

Try this:

“Set XXX”@CATITEM.Filename

Or
“Set XXX*”@CATITEM.Filename

Or
Set_XXX@CATITEM.Filename

Re: Show which Collections are assigned to an image

Gah! The display of collections in the thumbnail is limited because only one line is displayed. For nested collections, the name of the containing collection is prepended, further limiting the information provided. For example, I see the following text in a thumbnail: "Bird Albums.Best of Each...

Did you never use custom thumb lines before?
