Re: Darwin Core Biodiversity for cataloguing species

I saw that Photo Supreme supports XMP tags from Darwin Core Biodiversity. If I understand it well, to use this feature one must add custom fields in the "Info" panel. You need to select the Darwin Core editor in the Image Details. There's a "small/xpress" and "full" editor for DwC DwC.png But: is t...

Re: thumbnails ->full screen is the shortcut shift+enter?

How you describe it is also how I (tried) to describe it. So yes, either that or Shift-Enter on a thumb

Re: After moving files to another folder why do I have to scan for missing files?

I just tried it here and it works fine.

1. Select a folder that contains images
2. Drag one or two images to another folder and drop it
3. The images are in the new folder

Re: thumbnails ->full screen is the shortcut shift+enter?

The "normal" way to enter full screen is to open the image with Enter (or double click) and then in the preview, press Enter (or double click) to open full screen. Shift+Enter is a shortcut that takes you right to the full screen preview from the thumb. Its added to the pdf

Re: can you pre-select a checkbox when scripting using AskCustom?

AskCustom in the scripter doesn't allow default checks, nor radio buttons.

You can always construct your own form if needed.

Re: Files/folders missing from folder view

You probably have a custom root configured.

Right click on the top mode and select/unselect “Make this the root folder”

Re: is there a shortcut to slow down the thumbnails scrolling?

How are you scrolling?

When using the keyboard keys then slow down the key repeat rate in your Windows keyboard setting.

When using the mouse then change the scroll speed settings in your Windows mouse settings

Re: thumbnails ->full screen is the shortcut shift+enter?

Click on a thumb and press Shift-Enter to open the full screen viewer. That works fine here.
Could it be that you have some software installed that hijacks the Shift-Enter shortcut (like screen capturing/recording software)

Re: After moving files to another folder why do I have to scan for missing files?

There’s no way for Psu to know where you moved a folder to. If you move a folder from within psu then yes. If you move a folder outside of Psu with Psu open in the background and a file system that reports changes then yes. But if you move a folder outside of Psu and with Psu closed then Psu cannot ...

Re: Newbie - workflows

First of all a warm welcome to the forum. Is "Label" equivalent to keywords in other programs? A Catalog Label can (at first) best be considered a Keyword. It's more a Keyword on steroids. Where can I find information on how to quickly add labels (keywords) to the photos? Read the Cataloging Quick M...
