Secondary sort is on File Name.

Re: Sorting and Preview - makes me crazy - Bug?

You can use the default sorting, which is a lot faster than sorting with macro commands. Sort.png For sorting by Photo Date, PSU uses the photodate. This is determined as: The general purpose "photo date" is constructed as: first XMP's exif:DateTimeOriginal if not exists XMP's exif:DateTim...

Re: Sorting and Preview - makes me crazy - Bug?

I cannot reproduce that here. What I did, 1. Click Folders 2. Select the folder (in my case 2004->2004-07) 3. Click the counter to get a recursive view 4. Changed the sort order to Sort by Photo Date 5. Open the first image in the Viewer (double click on the first thumb) 6. Use the cursor keys to st...

Re: Macro Command with %Cataloglabellist and Synonyms

But how does that help me get the synonyms? This version of the script also returns the synonyms. But it's your script. Feel free to adjust it to your needs. Can I install this into your macro? Create a new Macro Custom Field in the Info Panel. There in the mini-hamburger, select "Edit as Text...

Re: Macro Command with %Cataloglabellist and Synonyms

You will need a different approach then. Something like this %code var FAllTokens: TTntStringList; procedure AddResultForItem(AResult: TTntStringList; AImage: TImageItem); var AProps: TCatalogItemProps; AProp: TCatalogItemProp; i, j: Integer; s, ss: WideString; ASyn: TTntStringList; begin AProps := ...

Re: Macro Command with %Cataloglabellist and Synonyms

A "normal" script runs on thumbnails and the selected thumbnails are passed to the script as the Selected variable. If you are going to use the script in the Copy Macro Command to Clipboard script then that script does the parsing one-by-one. The image being processed is available as the i...

Re: Macro Command with %Cataloglabellist and Synonyms

This may help you further. var FMacro: WideString; FAllTokens: TTntStringList; procedure AddResultForItem(AResult: TTntStringList; AImage: TImageItem; AMacroCommand: WideString); var s: WideString; begin s := AImage.ParseMacros(AMacroCommand, nil); Tokenize(s, ', ', AResult); end; procedure HandleIm...

Re: migration tips from Event Categories?

My first idea is to use the Details editor and migrate the supplemental category to the event field by selecting the macro from the right click context menu in the Event field. That will copy the supplemental category to event, which should on its turn return as a catalog label in the Events categor...

The Macro Commands manual gives the options for CatalogLabelList. I think what you’re looking for is the parent parameter

In the Details section you can see many fields. If you need more fields that aren’t displayed by default then use the Info Panel to add predefined custom fields. The ones you mention are available from the drop down (Advanced)

Re: Open all photos in Affinity Photo

Did you add Affinity as an external application? If so: 1. Select the thumbnail(s) for the file to open in your external application 2. Click the Affinity icon in the upper right above the thumbnail Does that help? As an alternative, you can also drag thumbs to the external application icon in Psu (...

Re: Single PDF Photo Supreme manual?

There is no single PDF that joins all the PDF manuals. There are tools out there that can stitch PDF documents or search in multiple PDF documents. As mentioned in another thread: you won't find entering values for editing parameters (what Recipes are) in any of the manuals. Anything in particular y...

Re: Potential PSu Adopter Questions

Thank you for your kind feedback. I'd like to note that upgrading Photo Supreme to a new main version is optional. By skipping every other main version, the upgrade cost is halved. Skip two main versions and you get a quarter of the yearly cost, etc. Looking forward to welcome you again in the near ...

Re: Folder shares: metadata and recipe handling

First of all: welcome to this forum. My simple question is this: what file share settings, if any, would prevent these criteria from being met? If a file share is not active/connected/mounted, then the files are not accessible and PSU will consider that as a "offline" medium. Changes will ...

Re: Open all photos in Affinity Photo

First of all, a warm welcome to the forum. Are you using Affinity 1 then in the Preferences->Other Settings->External Applications you can add Affinity1 as an external application. The new Affinity2 is different because Affinity2 is no longer a standard installed application, but is now a Windows St...
