Re: Reasons for using the Import Module?

I should have posted this here: Hert - I am using the import module of course! But I am not using it "straight from the memory card"... I typically shoot so many duplicates of lichens at slightly different settings (playing with the aperture for best depth-of-field) that I prefer sorting out the kee...

Re: A couple of suggestions

Not using PSU's Import Module? Wow, any reason why not? It should offer every possible feature needed to ingest, it's fast, and it's integrated. Hert - I am using the import module of course! But I am not using it "straight from the memory card"... I typically shoot so many duplicates of lichens at...

Re: A couple of suggestions

I am quite the opposite: I don't like at all if inserting a memory card automatically starts the import wizard and I am happy at the end of the import session the cards stays in... Why? I never import straight from the card. I already find it quite annoying that once PSU is running it is not even po...

Re: Inaccurate counts in section "versions"

is it possible to heal the non-assignment of placeholders? Any other suggestions? One of the versions in the set can (not must) occupy a placeholder. The same version can also occupy other placeholders . Now I am beginning to understand, why assigning placeholders is kind of a mess... I always assu...

Re: compression very lenthy

I think it is most likely a good thing that index-rebuilding is now part of the routine. Previously, my database kept growing and growing - despite compacting it regularly. As a hack, I finally figured out a way to delete the index table in SQLite Expert and then run a batch command to rebuild the i...

Re: where are filter stored?

Hhhmmm. Playing around with is I wonder "why?" Why are they part of the filter menu? If I click on a favorite folder in "Favorites" - it takes me there (even though the tree in "Folders" does not update/refresh...). But if (again in folder view) I use these paths from the filter menu, no results are...

Re: where are filter stored?

Still, i cannot find these odd filters in that menu, for example the ones named "DNGs to do" or "GEO to enter" or the one with the file path.
What are those? I am not using them anymoe, tried deleting them, but right-click delete does not show up...

Re: where are filter stored?

I thought I had found it and copied them over, but they do not show up :( I tried saving one filter as TEST 111, but cannot find that one: Untitled.jpg I looked in C:\Users\Frank\AppData\Local\IDimager Systems, Inc\Filters and C:\Program Files\IDimager Products\Photo Supreme 4\Resources\Scripts\Filt...

Re: where are filter stored?

Scripts can also be stored here: %localappdata%\IDimager Systems, Inc.\Scripts\FilterScripts When you save a filter the file ends up in %localappdata%\IDimager Systems, Inc.\Filters Apparently not on my system. Perhaps the directories changed with the new version(s). Have been using PSu for far too...

Re: RAW + JPG + XMP - RAW changed for adding keywords, rating, labels?

It might be also a bug on the DxO side, but DxO is not very quick to analyze the problem. (DPP, Lightroom and Faststone Image Viewer were able to read the file) What would be the workaround for such cases when using the "change the raw" process? Do not write metadata to those edited files until som...

Re: RAW + JPG + XMP - RAW changed for adding keywords, rating, labels?

When I started with IDI some 10+ years ago, I originally had it configured to writhe to original RAW (Nef) and it ruined those. Granted that is a looooong time ago, but I would still caution against writing XMP to original raw files. Probably unrelated: When I started with DxO Optic Pro 10, some of ...
