Re: Adding selection set to Portfolio Collection misses one image

Hi Hert, In the case I recorded, I think you're right. Unknowingly, that collection has a version set where both the main version and a sub-version both had a 4-star rating associated with them. So, both show up in the "Four Star" collection (the 29 images). However, when I add them to the...

Re: Move a portfolio collection

I'm not sure about a direct "move" operation, but you could add them to the new collection and them remove them from the old one. Given: - Collection A (the one you want to move) - Collection B (the existing collection you want to move "Collection A" into) - Open Collection A - S...

Re: Adding selection set to Portfolio Collection misses one image

Hert,

Here's a recoding showing the issue. This was the 2nd random collection I selected to try and record it. The first one worked as expected:

Re: Adding selection set to Portfolio Collection misses one image

Thanks for the video Hert. That looks pretty much like the workflow I described. And, I will say that while it doesn't always miss an image, it's not hard for me to reproduce here. I'll try to record a similar video to see if you can spot any differences. Stay tuned... :)

Re: Adding selection set to Portfolio Collection misses one image

Hi Hert, Here's a specific repro case using PSU Server 6.2.1.3709.pg - On the "States" tab, select the "Color Labeled" node, which contained 7 images - Ctrl-A to select all (7) items in the collection viewer - Right-click | Operations | Add to Portfolio Collection - Select an exi...

Adding selection set to Portfolio Collection misses one image

When adding a selected set of images to a portfolio collection, I consistently end up with 1 less image in the collection than my original selection set contained. Doing the same operation multiple times (with the same selection set) seems to correct the issue, but it sometimes takes 2-4 tries. This...

Image Basket - PSU / PSO

When adding/removing images from the image basket via both PSU and PSO (with both running), the counter shown on the image basket UI gets out of sync, as changes are only accounted for in the system where they were made (PSU or PSO). Related, the image basket collection itself isn't updated in clien...

PSO - Trial expired message

Hi Hert, I just tried to access PSO for the first time in a while and, after signing in, I get a toast message that says my trial has expired. Specifically: error: Trial expired; Your trial message code <LONG_HEX_CODE> I re-downloaded from the link found in the opening message to this board thinking...

Exit with a "Ratings" selection doesn't restore properly on restart

Using the latest server build (6.0.0.3597.pg), restarting the application with a a "Ratings" selection doesn't properly restore that selection upon restart. To reproduce: - Open the "Ratings tab - Select a specific star rating (say "Five Stars") - Exit the application - Star...

Quick update on PSO experiences

Hi Hert, I still haven't had a chance to play a lot with PSO, but my experiences so far have been really good (after you fixed the login bug). I was able to activate and order the categories I wanted to see in PSO via PSU as you suggested. I did have an issue where after I activated some categories ...

How to control visible categories in PSO?

Hert, I notice in the opening PSO thread, you mention... You determine what categories and/or portfolios also become available in PSO. Looking in PSO, I can currently see the People, Events, and Objects categories. Where / how is that being controlled (I assume from PSU, but I'm not in front of it t...
