My old Win 10 PC will be dying any day so I'll have a new Win 11 machine shortly. If I install PS will it violate the license having it on two machines, albeit briefly?
Thanks.

Re: The update is not updating
I don't have a "download software". On the right under Actions I have "download 64 bit installer". Same thing?
Wonder why I can't update from the application?

Re: The update is not updating
OK but all I see there are my past and present license keys and installer downloads. Nothing about updates.

The update is not updating
I'm trying to go from 6.4.1.3874 to .3881. I get the prompt to update but nothing happens when I say OK. The update progress window opens but nothing downloads. I'm on a Win 10 laptop with decent bandwidth. I rebooted but that didn't help. This started happening a few days ago but I let it go ...

Re: When exporting to a different folder Psu doesn't recognize the move
I'd like to have the exported jpegs in another folder as they are use for a specific purpose.
I tried versioning but I could never really my hands around it. I could continue doing what I'm doing but a few less clicks would be nice.
I thought any moving of files I did within Psu would be tracked?

When exporting to a different folder Psu doesn't recognize the move
When I use the Export to Folder feature (Ctrl + e) in Psu and move images to a new folder Psu doesn't see them. I'll use the function to reduce the size of the images and move them to a new folder all within Psu. I have to scan for missing files and then Psu picks them up.

Re: After moving files to another folder why do I have to scan for missing files?
Yeah, you're right. I don't know what I've been doing.
Maybe it's because normally I edit in DXO or Affinity and save back to Psu. Guess that would explain it.
Sorry for the false alarm.

Re: After moving files to another folder why do I have to scan for missing files?
Sorry, I wasn't clear I meant moving files within Psu. Currently if I select several images in Psu and drag them to another folder they don't show in the new folder until I scan for missing files. Maybe I'm missing something.

If the folder changes color then Psu must know there's a change. Couldn't it remap itself?

Re: After moving files to another folder why do I have to scan for missing files?
OK, thanks, I can do that.
I'm not trying to be a pain here but I really wonder why PS wouldn't know a change was made. Certainly if a file was moved outside of PS all bets are off but within? It just seems the extra step of right clicking to verify a move I made inside of PS shouldn't be needed.

After moving files to another folder why do I have to scan for missing files?
I must be missing something but I'd think PS would know the files have been moved. Occasionally I can forget to scan after a move and then later look for the moved files in the new folder but, of course, they don't show up.
Maybe there's a shortcut I'm missing.
Many thanks.

JPG files have labels I never assigned
I have a bunch of jpg files where I used the export function in V5 to reduce tif's and place them in a new folder. This was done many times over several weeks. Now in V6 some of these files have a ton of labels assigned that I didn't assign and they make no sense. I have no idea how many are like ...

Re: In V6 I'm showing versions that aren't the same photo
Tom,
I hwould destroy the Version-Set (right-click menu) then synchronize the images that are now out of sync.
Then, please check the rules in the settings menu and let the Version detection run over the selected images.
Or you manually version those photos...
Maybe you want to try out the ...

In V6 I'm showing versions that aren't the same photo
I just installed V6 and I see at least two of my photos show 11 or 12 versions. Trouble is the versions aren't the same photos and weren't there in V5. It looks like the two photos with multiple unrelated versioned photos are in one folder.
Do I remove the wrong ones one at a time using the version ...
