Re: strange ICC color problem (existed sometimes already in idimager)

It seems that I also have to file a bug report for it :-(

strange ICC color problem (existed sometimes already in idimager)

Hi Just upgraded from IDimager because of a very strange "red image" problem. I convert 48-bit icc-profoto tiff files to high quality sRGB jpegs with a batch. Both in IDimager and photo supreme I get a nr of "red" images for a batch. Photo supreme seems to be far worse in the sense that there a lot ...

Re: windows: generating hardlink possible in batch?

Hi Frank

I know that there are differences. That's the reason that I'm asking before attempting a move to PSu.

windows: generating hardlink possible in batch?

Hi

Is it possible to generate inside a batch a ntfs hardlink to the file instead of a copy?

To avoid copying large tiff files, it could be faster to generate hard links.

BTW. Still using IdImager, but maybe it's becoming time to switch.

Re: is batch using multiple core's?

Alain, My experience with PhotoSupreme has been excellent. Aside from the new features, the improvements Hert has made under the hood in terms of performance have made PSu superior to IDImager v 5, and even PSu v2. I am currently running PSu v3 on a nearly five year old Core i5, Windows 10 64 bit m...

Re: is batch using multiple core's?

Thanks

Now I'm still thinking about i5820k or i6700k or 4970k CPU's (aka 6 slower core's against 4 faster core's) ;-)

If Photo supreme takes over the complete catalog, is there a benefit from still having IDImager on the computers system?

Re: is batch using multiple core's?

Thanks

I should really start thinking about photo supreme ;-)
I've read it's better done before migrating to a new computer.

is batch using multiple core's?

Hi I'm still in IDimager, but want to know something about photosupreme (I have a V2 license, but not installed it). IDImager only uses 1 core when running a batch which converts a nr of 16-bit prophoto tiff to a 8-bit sRGB jpeg images. Does the batcher in photo supreme use more cores or is it also ...

Re: In lieu of the Version Detection Wizard?

Hert/IDimager wrote:No, in the Import module it won't version such combinations. It only checks for RAW-JPG combinations and version those.

Hert
That's unfortunate.

Re: In lieu of the Version Detection Wizard?

So if I read it well, it won't version :
