outdated detail's panel?

  • the panel consists amongst others of deprecated/legacy IPTC fields: shouldn't they be recaped in a separate section?
  • the deprecated "intellectual genre" has been replaced in 2016 by the new "genre" (Iptc4xmpExt:Genre); it's now a bag, allowing multiple entries. The new field is still completely missing in PSU.
  • also missing is the field "event identifier" (Iptc4xmpExt:Eventld), added in 2021
  • in 2022 the cv for "digital source type" (Iptc4xmpExt:DigitalSourceType) has been enhanced and widely modified; none of these changes has been implemented in PSU so far https://cv.iptc.org/newscodes/digitalsourcetype/
  • the detail's panel's structure reflects the changes in its lifetime: while the original sections had a thematic orientation (copyright, creator, image content etc.) the section IPTC Extension is only named after the second part of the IPTC Photo Metadata Standard (the first being the IPTC Core). Perhaps breaking down the IPTX Extension fields to their theamtic counterpart would be the preferred solution?!
