I thought the following info may be useful to PhotoSupreme users:
Bad News:
I have DNGs generated by several programs (including a flatbed scanner and vuescan) over the years some appear correctly with thumbnails in Photosupreme 2024.2.2.6703 on an intel iMac, others are either black or corrupted. The same files thumbnails are displayed correctly in other software including:
Apple Finder
Digikam
PhotoMechanic
On1 PhotoRaw
Capture One Pro 22
Adobe Bridge 2025
However DXO Photolab 8 has the same problem as Photo Supreme.
Good News:
Opening DNG file with corrupted thumbnails in software (e.g. On1) that can display the thumbnail and exporting as a new DNG solves the problem
