Catalog filter by Folders anybody else with this problem?

I've just reported a problem but wondering if anyone else is suffering the same or is it just me ?

Unable to add multiple Folders to a filter by Catalog operation, other categories seem Ok just Folders.

I attempted to check this out, but I get "Access Denied" when I try to view this in Mantis. Both clicking on your link, and entering 3554 in the Mantis search bar.

Oh yes just seen its marked as "Private" didn't think I had ticked that, I'll have to see if I can change it back to Public/Open or whatever..... looks like its locked once created for me. Yup I can now add additional Folders from within the Catalog filter panel.

It looks like your problem is fixed, but I was curious, so I tried it on my iMac. I had the same result as you with the folder, though I did not experience a slow reaction adding an element from another category.

I saw from Mantis the recommendation to try 6529. So that must have fixed it for you. I went to get the latest myself, which is now 6531, to try it again. But it still doesn't work for me. The Folder category will not reopen. Furthermore, as I work almost entirely under the Folders heading, I tried it there, but when I drag a folder to the filter, all the folders disappear entirely.

A little further testing: if I click the filter icon, which minimizes the item list to be filtered, the folders reappear and I am able to drag another folder and drop it on the filter icon, which then causes the folders to disappear again.

First of all, I am happy seeing that the Catalog Filter is being used. I think it is one of the most helpful features when you need to work on a subset of images.

You can always use the + icon in the Catalog Filter panel to add an element that is outside of the filter condition.
