While I find the keywording part of PSu to be the best I've found in various DAM programs, it is useless if I can't access it.
One folder and its subs was constantly throwing "not found errors" for various images so I removed that folder with the intention of reintroducing it into the db.
Now I'm staring at the "not responding" state. CPU activity is at 0% and the memory value hasn't changed. Disk and network are both at 0 too.
I'm now at build 6300 but I might have to settle for second best keywording if I always run into "not responding" issues.
