Hello all,
when having a PSD file in the viewport, there is a bug creating the thumbnail.
I always switched the Photoshop option "Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility" to never, so there is no extra Tiff-based thumbnail included in these PSD-file. This leads to an unexpected behaviour during trying to generate a thumbnail of these PSD-files: they are not ignored, instead PSU tries again and again to read the file.
Here is a short screen capture: https://mycloud.mwdnr.com/index.php/s/HB7XC3MWoSjbgx7
This is surely no high priority bug, but maybe it can be solved by recorgnizing PSD-files which are safed with lower compatibility and igoring them.
Bug: Preview of PSD file
Re: Bug: Preview of PSD file
Among other things, this error prevents the correct or complete application of a detail profile, since the selected detail profile is apparently replaced by the current image or catalog data before it is used during the ongoing reloading.
This preview error does not occur during import process (import to catalogue -> extended settings). There the unsuccessful loading of the PSD files without maximized compatibility seems to be abourted immediately (no ongoing loading animation or behaviour).
