Any way to trigger "new database" in the server version?

I have the server version of PSU installed, and it normally runs against a Postgres server. However, when on the road, I want to have it run against a local postgres server. However, since PSU has been configured against the remote postgres server, it won't prompt to setup a new database when pointed at 127.0.0.1 - it just says that it can't connect. Any ideas on how to convince it to build a new database?
