Re: Photo Supreme and Capture One 9
Thanks, but I always sync after an initial import into PSu.weidmic wrote:Try this: after you imported the images into PSU - select all images and CTRL+S (to save metadata)
Then open C1 - do your edits create new files etc.
Then you can run the verify folder in PSU...
I do that all the time and it works pretty well. I believe there is something little going a little wrong after initial import into PSU
It is interesting to note that C1 creates a folder with .cos extension files for ALL files in the directory, whether or not you have selected them, i.e. I mark 6 files for editing from a directory of 100 files and open C1 from PSu. While I am editing, C1 is creating a .cos file for all 100 images. It also creates additional .cof and .cop files in a cache folder for the 6 edited files.
Then when back in PSu, if I verify the folder, it shows updates for ALL 100 files, which I do not accept. Even though all 100 files are not shown as being out of sync, if I mark and sync them again and re-verify the folder, then I do not get an update request. So it appears to be necessary to sync all files in the directory before and after using C1.
Never say never change, but using Mac since 2005. Photo Supreme 3.3.0.2605. I endorse the interoperability of files between applications and systems.

Not yet. The task in hand was a one-off, but reflects in other scenarios too.oversampling wrote:@Stephen
