How does one find the repository please?
Never say never change, but using Mac since 2005. Photo Supreme 3.3.0.2605. I endorse the interoperability of files between applications and systems.

Hi Vlad,
I have tried out the two scripts.
In my experience the first one doesn't seem to be working. When I select a bunch of images and run the script nothing happens.
The second one generates a new label called "(new face)" instead of discovering images that have areas not mapped to a particular label.

But perhaps I am expecting too much from PSu's algorithm? I had hoped it might work similar to the feature in Lightroom, which automatically detects faces and with some training even recognizes what person that face actually corresponds to...

Generally I am quite confused how all this is supposed to work in PSu. I noticed I can drag a label from the People category onto the image and a new area tagged with that label is created. But then: Once I have thus a label assigned to an area, how can I actually see that this label has been mapped to a particular area? Selecting a label with a person's name, Is it possible to quickly detect the images that have faces not yet mapped to that label?

Can I only invoke new faces to be detected manually when in preview or light table? Is it possible to run it on several files at once? Can the faces that are detected automatically be assigned to a particular label?

Does anyone use this much? In my experience faces in images are very frequently not recognized at all or objects that are clearly not faces at all are detected...

Sorry for all the questions:
I looked through the manual, but cannot find anything how this is all supposed to work...

Thanks,
Frank

Is there a manual or some explanation here on the forum how area tagging actually works in PSu? I think it has quite some potential, but have no idea how to actually do it efficiently...
Thanks,
Frank

Hi Vlad

Today I came across another face-related error for which a script would be handy if you ever get some time to spare - two people in one photo both tagged with the same name; obviously a person should only appear once in a photo (well, except for reflections or double exposures, I guess)...

1. Open an image (double click the thumb)
2. Right click on the image at the point where you'd like to add an area
3. From the context menu, select Areas->Add Area

Alternatively (and quicker IMHO) if you've assigned people labels to an image, or if the labels are visible under 'recently used' / 'favorites' etc, you can drag and drop the label directly onto a person's face.
