I still have the same problem every time when rescanning my folders. Freezing and I have to terminate the application.

Could it be related to something specific in the folder (for instance in early versions, the existence of a corrupt JPG file would hang the application)?

Are you able to narrow this down to one particular folder?

Hi

Another route to try is to Compact Your Database.

I have had several instances where either the Verify Freezes, or the Labels / Files WILL NOT update / import category labels, etc - and the reason as been a corrupt database.

Starting a compact will quickly tell you if your database is corrupt, and if its not then you have just done some housekeeping anyway.
