Watch Folder
Re: Watch Folder
I still have the same problem every time when rescanning my folders. Freezing and I have to terminate the application.

Me too. Although, I'd prefer 'Add to Database' instead of 'Ingest'.Hert/IDimager wrote:I agree with your reasoning, Mikemphillips wrote:Maybe "Add to Database" if you don't like ingest ?

Re: Watch Folder
Could it be related to something specific in the folder (for instance in early versions, the existence of a corrupt JPG file would hang the application)?baard wrote:I still have the same problem every time when rescanning my folders. Freezing and I have to terminate the application.
Are you able to narrow this down to one particular folder?

Re: Watch Folder
Hi
Another route to try is to Compact Your Database.
I have had several instances where either the Verify Freezes, or the Labels / Files WILL NOT update / import category labels, etc - and the reason as been a corrupt database.
Starting a compact will quickly tell you if your database is corrupt, and if its not then you have just done some housekeeping anyway.
