I have an issue when the "Images open in" setting is set to "Floating Viewer".
My laptop has a 3840x2160 resolution screen, with a second 1920x1200 monitor connected.
On the main monitor the floating viewer menus function normally, but when I drag it to the secondary monitor the menus are displayed incorrectly and are unusable. The images show the menus when "Open Zoom Options" is selected from the menu bar on the different monitors. I have tried two different secondary monitors, and both display the same issue. A similar problem exists if I select the "Viewer on Second Monitor" option.
I am running Windows 11 with the latest updates and current video driver versions. My laptop reports two display adaptors, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU and an Intel Iris Xe Graphics. I think the NVIDIA is running the primary display, and the Intel the secondary display.
Is anyone else able to reproduce this issue?
Regards,
Roman

Re: Secondary monitor issue
Sorry to be a squeaky wheel. Is anyone able to verify that the floating viewer has an issue when using the menus at the bottom of the screen if it is moved to a secondary monitor? I am running PS 2025.1.1.7522 (64bit).
Re: Secondary monitor issue
I have read in various news tickers that the current nVidia drivers should be very buggy.
Maybe go to the previous version or install the Studio drivers. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with this, but it looks more like it.

Re: Secondary monitor issue
Thanks for the suggestion Robert.
I installed the nVidia Studio drivers, but it did not resolve the issue.
Do you use two monitors? If so, can you please confirm that the following sequence works for you:
1. Select the floating viewer option
2. Display an image in the viewer
3. Reduce the viewer in size
4. Move the viewer to the secondary monitor
5. Select the zoom control from the task bar and verify that it is displayed normally and functions normally
I just need to be reassured that it is something in my configuration that is the problem.
Thanks, Roman

Re: Secondary monitor issue
I have 2 monitors and tried the workflow as outlined above and didn't have any problems. But I'm on a Mac.Roman wrote: 02 Apr 25 8:06 Thanks for the suggestion Robert.

Re: Secondary monitor issue
Hi wesstl,
Thanks for testing it on a Mac and the feedback.
Hopefully I don't need to buy a Mac to fix the issue!
It would be good if another Windows user gave it a try.
