Hi,
Sorry if there is already a post for this, I did search, I promise you.
Am still playing around with Photo Supreme, trying to decide whether to pay for it past the trial period. I have set up an import profile and imported a folder which is a backup of an old PC. After the import all of the media filenames have been changed to include a date timestamp eg:
Bill (2023_11_24 17_43_19 UTC).jpg
How do I stop this happening?
Apart from this being very annoying, and will make my files harder to deal with in other applications, many of the folders I intend to import are the target of robocopy jobs, so if they get renamed then new versions will be copied into the folder.
Thanks
Stop import changing filenames
Re: Stop import changing filenames
When you have set-up your import profile did you also - maybe by mistake - set up a renaming instruction into the profile?

I don't know how to setup a renaming instruction, nor can I see any option to do so. Where are the settings for this?

During the Import you have the option to create custom processing of names, renamning and folder architecture.waxingsatirical wrote: 27 Sep 24 11:02 I don't know how to setup a renaming instruction, nor can I see any option to do so. Where are the settings for this?
Take a look at chapter six and seven here:
