I have an old copy of PhotoSupreme Server 4 PostgresSQL and am trying to update to the new PhotoSupreme 2024 version. I have successfully installed the new Postgres and PhotoSupreme software. I have backed up the DB from the old Postgres and restored it to the new Postgres 16 server. When I open PhotoSupreme it asks me to do a DB update. I have chosen yes to the update and then after a little while I am getting the following error:
Something went wrong while upgrading your PostgresSQL Catalog towards version 3063 (last successful step is 3002). I am also attaching a screenshot of the error. I hope that this is enough information to help.
Thank you.

Re: Upgrade Error Server Edition Postgres
The step after 3002 is where the mentioned table is first created. It should not be possible that that table already exists (unless an earlier upgrade was killed).
Best to restore your backup from v4 again and start PSU. Please let the database upgrade complete. Don't kill the application while the upgrade is in progress, even if it appears to be stalled. Upgrading from v4 to v2024 has a few steps in it that can really take time to complete.

Re: Upgrade Error Server Edition Postgres
Thank you for the response. I tried again and got another error, in the image below. This time I created a brand new catalog. I tried to import from PhotoSupreme, it said it worked, but when I reopened IDI the whole catalog was blank. So instead I created another new catalog and did a backup and restore through the SQL interface. Then I opened IDI and it said it needed to do an upgrade. I said go ahead and this time it stopped at 3013. Any further thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The steps to migrate PostgreSQL version to a newer version are outlined in the Maintenance manual, starting at page 8.
