How to disable the "pop-up" window in the viewer ?

Post by Filmoni »

Hello,

Is there an option to disable that pop-up window that appears over each photo when you look at them in the viewer? I find it quite distracting and don't use it.

You realise its showing you the versions that exist for that image ?
By the way that versions are handled, you need a mechanism for selecting the right version you want to preview.

Thank you for your answer.
The screenshot I sent isn't very well chosen. I'm actually working on 2 screens.
So I have the viewer on one screen and the thumbnail view on the other.
So I can easily see the different versions that exist for that image and select the version I want to preview on the 2nd screen.

It is possible to switch to full screen mode and then there's no longer the distracting pop-up window.
But in this mode, it is no longer possible to use the 2nd screen (not possible to click on another image to display it, to choose another version, to add tags or to geotag)...

Yes I use dual screens as well, if I click fullscreen then it expands to full size on the second monitor. However the Versions panel at the top remains and does the normal time-out after a couple of seconds when it disappears from view until I double click the image or move to another image. So no matter what I do the versions panel fades out after a few seconds.
