too many labels per images

Is there a quick way to remove multiple labels without clicking on them one at a time?
Somehow, the wrong set of labels got assigned to a bunch of images and while i figured out how to filter to only show those images that have many labels (more than is normal), I'm still stuck with removing them slowly.
