So I'm checking out some of the new features, and I was confused about this one. I had to look around, and I think I've found it. "None" has been added as a Bar Style selection. Am I correct?
I tried it, and ok, the drop-down menu is gone. Don't know what the purpose is, but that's fine.
But there is a problem. I reselected Drop Down Menu, which I normally use, and the menu does not show. It almost behaves like the Hovered selection in that the triangle menu appears when hovering, but the rating and rotate icons do not appear when hovering over the menu.
I tried restarting the application, but that didn't help

Re: new option: "no" bar below the thumbnails
Working OK here on 6246 under Windows 10, went to None and then returned back to the other options then back to Drop Down and all OK.

I'm on a Mac running Sonoma, also 6246. It looks like it may be a Mac issue, or perhaps just me.
Re: new option: "no" bar below the thumbnails
At the moment I say always try the latest version which is 6252
