Problem with slideshow and image viewer

Just been trying it on mine and no visible problems.
Have you ever created smaller preview images, which perhaps have never been updated to your current size ?

I deleted the thumbs database, then re-create (size : 800 px).

But the problem is not solved. The only way is to go back (during the slideshow) to the prévious image and then the next one has now the right size (full screen) – but sometimes it does not work and the image is still small.

Might be worth making a small video of the problem I use Bandicam to screen grab a video and then upload to Youtube and point those who can help to it?

Just this : after updating to V2024, the issue is not solved.

Database was updated, compacted, checked, all is right... except the slideshow : after ~10 (ot less, or more) images, tumbnails replace full size. That is inconvenient (at least).

I don't know what to do...

P. S. : if I leave the slideshow proceed a second time (or more), then the images are all in full size !

Are the images on the same machine running the database or is there a LAN with the images on a different machine ? Wondering if there is a time lag to fetch the full size images and hence use of the preview size ?

The images are on the same machine but not the same unit. It is not enough to explain why the first images are in full size and the last shown with thumbnails (well, I presume).

I recently changed one hard drive for a SSD one (1 To).

On this SSD, there are :
– unit X: = PSU and its databases (catalog and thumbnails)
– unit Y: = the images themselves (in 2 folders, Numérique and Argentique).

I hoped that would solve the issue but no... When using slideshow, thumbnails replace full screen images after x... images.

Could it be a problem with the database ?
