V2023 Geotagging Failure
I have just upgraded to V2023 and get the following message when I select the Geotagging Screen: "This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details." I don't even know where to find the JavaScript Console. Will Google Maps EVER work with PS?

There are no issues with the GEO Panel.
If you get that error then that most likely means that your Google API key isn't working. Visit the Google API website to check if your payment method is still valid. Even though Google doesn't charge for "normal" use, they do require a valid payment method. Also check that your API doesn't have a restriction set to it that limits the use

Hert,
Would it be possible to get a list of the required APIs to enable? I may have more than I need.

I cannot check it now, but I believe this is described in the Setup Google API manual. Find it under the ? icon in the left side bar.

Re: V2023 Geotagging Failure
I removed all limitations and it is now working. Is it safe to run without any limitations, and if not how do I determine what to limit?
Re: V2023 Geotagging Failure
From memory I think you can put a limit on the actual cost, and can also set up warnings on cost; I seem to recall setting these extremely low just to be on the safe side! (And I have never hit those limits).
I have to say I found Google's interface for setting up this stuff almost impenetrable. I assume I just didn't get whatever their key concepts were in user / project control.

Thanks Snowman1. I know just how you feel.

My API key is restricted with my IP address.

Re: V2023 Geotagging Failure
I could not use my IP address for restriction because it is changed very often by my ISP.
I removed all restrictions and it works since that time.

Re: V2023 Geotagging Failure
PS 2023.2.0.5063, Windows 11.
"This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details."
All the API's are correct installed. Up to now the IP-address restriction was functioning well. Correct IP-address checked. But only by deleting this IP-restriction Google Maps is again functioning in PS.
So something has changed? How works the checking of the IP-address by Google, has PS a role in this process?

Re: V2023 Geotagging Failure
Google dropped support for the Google Maps Javascript version that the webpage in Photo Supreme was using.
Their new version is now supported in Photo Supreme v2023.

So I can use IP-address from now on again or do I have to take other actions? The problem dates from today and I'm using V2023 for a long time.
Re: V2023 Geotagging Failure
You don’t have to do or change anything. Keep your ip restrictions as before
