Trouble With Versions

Post by wphx »

I'm having trouble navigating and working with versions. I don't know when this began, I only noticed it after the most recent update for psu 2023 (.4934). From what I can discern it seems that the visible thumbnail isn't updated as I switch between version on the main browing window (i.e. clicking on the version tabs). If I have a raw file with say, a .jpg version and and edited raw version (saved as .jpg) I see 3 tabs. the main version, plus versions 1 & 2. When I move between the tabs the displayed thumbnail doesn't change. The version filename displayed doesn't update, although the displayed version type might change from RW2 to JPG. If I click on any other version tab and update the thumbnail, the new thumbnail is displayed, but then again doesn't change as I click between the version tabs. When I move into 'adjustments' the correct selected version is visible in the adjustments window. Does anyone else have this behaviour or is it just me? I'm just asking because I only noticed it since the last update. What it means for me is that it becomes almost impossible to tell which version I am working with when I send the file through to other apps (except for which tab is highlighted). Thankyou if you can offer any help. (I have compacted the database, and I have tried destroying selected version sets and rebuilding them).
