Hi Hert,
I always loved the idea of being able to quickly email photos from PSu, but never got "double authentication" in Gmail to work.
I thought with all the new additions to PSu, I'd give this a try again, but still get this:
Is there no way to get this to work without disabling Gmail double authentication???
Thanks,
Frank

quick way to email with gmail?
Re: quick way to email?
BTW - there is an old post from a while ago. Even when I turned two-way authentication off, I never managed to get things to work:

I wonder if any solution to this has been found by now...
I really do not like the idea to turn two-factor authentication off as the only option.

Re: quick way to email?
I figured it out myself. You have to create an app password in Gmail:
Works now. Great!

Thank you. An app password was exactly what I needed. Perhaps this could be added to the documentation on sharing.fbungarz wrote: 31 Aug 20 18:50 I figured it out myself. You have to create an app password in Gmail:

Re: quick way to email with gmail?
Is these solutions still true? I can't find anywhere to add these settings in Gmail. Worse yet, I’ve tried an SMTP server that does not require authentication https://www.wpoven.com/tools/free-smtp- ... or-testing and get different errors and still unable to send files. I also disabled the firewall, thinking that might be the problem.
I don’t think it’s me.
Hope for a solution
